Erika Jayne seems to think she’s been vindicated.
Following the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, which featured Lisa Rinna admitting she was actually the one who threw Garcelle Beauvais‘ book in the trash earlier this year, Erika shared a telling message about “being vindicated” with her fans and followers.
Along with a photo of herself and Rinna posing in a “cheers” position with a couple of olive martinis, Erika included a message from Pedestrian TV on Instagram, which gave a nod to their Zodiac sign, Cancer, and said they were “being vindicated after arguing your point to the bitter end.”
Also on her Instagram Story, Erika reshared a message and photo initially posted by Lisa. In the photo, Lisa showed off her trash and recycle bins, and she joked that after taking heat for throwing Garcelle’s book in a bin that was not properly sorted, her recycling is now “on fleek.”
As Lisa explained during the RHOBH reunion, she shot the video of the book in the trash and sent it to a group message that Garcelle was not included in, possibly with the Fox Force Five. And after Erika became upset over a video Garcelle shared on her own page, she decided to share the clip (and take on the backlash that ultimately came with doing so) herself.
As for why Lisa threw the book away in the first place, she explained that she and Garcelle had a handshake agreement that “kids were off limits,” which was violated by Garcelle when she chose to put Amelia Hamlin in her book (Garcelle later released an amended version of her memoir after being contacted by a lawyer representing Amelia).
Also amid the reunion, Andy asked Lisa, “Do you recycle?” Lisa replied by saying that she and husband Harry Hamlin have made adjustments to their recycling and noted that she felt worse about the backlash Erika received for the lack of recycling than what she got for tossing out Garcelle’s book.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 reunion continues with part three next Wednesday, October 26, at 8/7c on Bravo.
