Chrishell Stause attended the 2022 People’s Choice Awards on Monday, where she was nominated for Best Reality Star and for Best Reality TV Show along with her Selling Sunset castmates. And during the event, she teased season six.
Before revealing if she’s open to reconciling with former co-star Christine Quinn, Chrishell revealed which of her castmates is the “most thirsty,” which surprised her most for the best and worst, and confirmed if partner G Flip will be featured on the new episodes.
While speaking to Laverne Cox on December 6 for E! News, Chrishell said Nicole Young was the most thirsty and named her as the co-star who surprised her the most for the worst. As for who surprised her for the best, that went to Bre Tiesi.
Then, when asked if G Flip would be on season six, Chrishell confirmed, “I don’t know if I’m supposed to be telling you guys this, but yes.”
As for if she would reconcile with Christine, Chrishell asked, “Why not?”
Still, when questioned about whether she missed her former co-star amid filming on season six, Chrishell refused to answer.
“I plead the fifth,” she stated.
While Chrishell was in an upbeat mood at the time of her red-carpet interview, she wasn’t as happy hours later. She took to her Twitter account early Wednesday morning to blast the People’s Choice Awards for refusing to allow her to bring partner G Flip as her date to the event.
“I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later. BUT people’s choice didn’t allow me to bring my partner to the awards. I could ONLY bring a plus 1 if it was a cast member. Wtf Sure this means I will never be nominated again but honestly fu,” she tweeted on December 7.
“EVERY single cast member invited and some had plus ones. I was nominated for best [reality] star and yet they said NO. Again fu,” she continued.
Although G Flip wouldn’t have been able to attend the event even if they’d been invited, Chrishell said the two of them didn’t know they wouldn’t be allowed to go until just beforehand.
“G isn’t in the country so ended up not being able to go anyway but we only realized that recently. Up until a few days ago I was fighting to get them in and only to see everyone invited. Gtfoh,” Chrishell explained.
Chrishell went on to make it clear that she felt it was unfair that some members of her cast were allowed plus ones who weren’t featured on Selling Sunset.
“If you are going to invite the whole cast of [Selling Sunset] [to the People’s Choice Awards] then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or other wise told I do not get a plus one..??” she added. “If no other cast invited then that would make sense but…”
Although Chrishell didn’t name names, both Heather Rae El Moussa and Jason Oppenheim attended the People’s Choice Awards with their non-co-star partners, Tarek El Moussa and Marie-Lou Nurk, respectively.
Selling Sunset season six is expected to begin streaming on Netflix sometime in early 2023.
