The Real Housewives of New Orleans could be coming soon.

Just months after the premiere of The Real Housewives of Dubai, the latest installment of the Real Housewives franchise, a newly-spotted casting notice has fans convinced the potential show is in the works — and hoping that the cast will include Southern Charm: New Orleans alums Tamica Lee and Reagan Charleston.

“Shed Media [is] casting a new show featuring ladies of New Orleans. The show has been teased as possibly being a new Real Housewives franchise depending how well filming goes!” the Real Housewives Zone announced to their Instagram followers on December 14, along with a screenshot of the casting call.

In the casting notice, a message read, “Now casting ladies of NOLA … The producers of [Real Housewives of New York City], [Real Housewives of Salt Lake City], and Below Deck Adventure are seeking fun, fabulous, glamorous women in New Orleans!”

Although fans will have to wait and see whether RHONO will take off or not, a number of followers of the Real Housewives Zone‘s page seemed to be in support of the potential series.

RHONO just feels so right,” one person noted as a second suspected the series could air on Peacock.

Others requested Tamica and Reagan for the show, with many noting that they’d love to see Tamica’s husband, Barry Smith, on their television screens.

“Can we have Tamica and Reagan from Southern Charm on this!!?!?!” someone asked.

“Bring back [Tamica Lee] and her fine a– husband and [Reagan Charleston],” another agreed.

One person even suggested that other members of the Southern Charm: New Orleans cast, which featured Rachel McKenzie and Kelsey Nichols as guest stars, be included, noting that they “miss that show.”

Still, some fans made it clear that while they’d like to see the cast return, they would like it to be in the form of a third season, rather than their additions to a potential RHONO cast.

“Bring back Southern Charm: New Orleans!!!!” a fan demanded.

“Just bring back Southern Charm: New Orleans. They were messy fun!” said another.

Although Andy Cohen hasn’t yet shared his thoughts on The Real Housewives of New Orleans, he admitted in 2019 that a number of cities have been scouted but not chosen for the franchise.

“We’ve cast in some cities that we haven’t wound up pursuing, like Greenwich, Connecticut and Chicago, and San Francisco and Houston,” Andy explained during an Emmys panel that year. “There have been a lot of places that we’ve tried but just didn’t work.”
