Jen Shah has just been spotted behind bars for the first time.
Months after beginning her six-year prison term, which she was dealt after pleading guilty to fraud last July, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was photographed with another inmate in the yard of the Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.
In photos obtained by Page Six on May 9, Jen wore a beige uniform, which she paired with gold earrings, glasses, and a ponytail.
As fans may have heard, Jen has been keeping busy behind bars. In addition to reportedly creating a play titled “The Real Housewives of Bryan,” she’s been teaching working classes three times a week — and she’s even garnered herself the nickname “Jen Fonda.”

According to Jen’s assistant, who took over her social media accounts after she checked in, the mother of two has been doing “phenomenal” amid her incarceration.
“She looks beautiful, her skin looks so glowy, her hair looks great,” he recently wrote on Jen’s Instagram Story.
But while Jen is said to be coping well with her prison stint, which is expected to end on August 30, 2028, she still owes $6.5 million in restitution to the victims of her telemarketing scheme and has been accused of stiffing her lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, to the tune of $124,422.95.
Before beginning her prison term, the RHOSLC alum appeared on White Collar Advice, where she shared her biggest fear.
“What I fear that most is that transition of not being able to hug and kiss my husband and my boys every day, and my mom,” Jen revealed. “But at the same time … I also feel hopeful and motivated to do a good job and make the most of my time away.”
“I’m going to be able to put the past behind me and finally start truly healing and forging a new path,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
