Marlo Hampton Reveals Why She Was “Triggered” in Drew Sidora Fight, Claims “Every” Castmember Was “Afraid” to Bring Up Shooting at Kandi's Restaurant, as Drew Calls Her "Messy"

Marlo Hampton revealed why she was “triggered” by Drew Sidora on the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she threw shade at certain cast members who are allegedly protecting Kandi Burruss.

She also claimed every co-star was “scared” to address the reported shooting at Kandi’s restaurant, and Drew was the only castmate with enough “courage” to do it.

After the episode aired, Marlo posted a video on social media, shared by @bravoshaderoom on Twitter, explaining why she was so upset.

Addressing the restaurant shooting, Marlo said, “Every single person was scared to bring it up.”

She then gave “props” to Drew, the “only one with the courage” to bring it up. However, Drew allegedly called the shooting an “incident,” which bothered Marlo.

“Girl, this was on the news. There was a shooting at Kandi’s restaurant … but poor Drew was scared,” said Marlo, who suggested Kenya Moore and other cast members attempted to shut Drew down for saying something “negative” about “Queen Kandi.”

“So that triggered me,” said Marlo, who shared that it “took me back” to when her nephew – who once worked at Kandi’s restaurant – was “shot and killed.” According to Marlo, she reached out and told Kandi, who didn’t truly “acknowledge it.”

Later, when Marlo was in Kandi’s home, the recording artist seemed “as if [Marlo] had never even texted her about it.”

“This is my friend,” said Marlo, “So if I call you and tell you my blood nephew, my sister’s firstborn, was shot and murdered, that used to work for you — he didn’t work for you 10 years ago, he [had] just worked for you …  — and you’re not gonna say, ‘Girl, I’m gonna send flowers. I’m sorry to hear that, sis’ … How do you not acknowledge that?”

She added, “That s**t triggered me. It triggered me to ‘Here we go again. We sit here if it’s anything negative with Kandi, it cannot be discussed. It won’t be discussed. But let it be something with Marlo, it’s gonna be discussed.”

Marlo indicated that the word “incident” was used to protect Kandi, though the same protection is not extended to Marlo.

As the episode was released, Drew also took to social media and threw shade at Marlo, calling her “messy.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
