The Summer House cast went into production on the series’ eighth season earlier this week, but Lindsay Hubbard and her fiance, Carl Radke, were hundreds of miles away, celebrating the Fourth of July holiday in Washington, D.C.
As a number of cast members were spotted enjoying what appeared to be a carnival in Montauk, New York, a report shared who will be returning to the show and teased new additions as Lindsay confirmed to a fan that she was “not filming” on Tuesday.
“No Summer House this year?” the fan asked on July 4, as seen in a screenshot shared by the Queens of Bravo on Instagram, which included Lindsay in a red, white, and blue flag-print bra and shorts.
“We’re not filming today!” Lindsay replied.
But while Lindsay and Carl spent the Fourth of July in D.C., another report from Queens of Bravo confirmed that the two of them will be returning to Summer House for season eight, although in lesser roles.
“Summer House began filming this [weekend with Kyle Cooke], [Amanda Batula], [Danielle Olivera], [Paige DeSorbo], [Ciara Miller], [Gabby Prescod] [and] 2 male newbies,” the fan page shared. “Lindsay [and] Carl will make occasional appearances in the house, but storyline will be focused on wedding prep.”
After also sharing that Lindsay and Kyle will “allegedly will join the house next [weekend],” Queens of Bravo said Samantha Feher, Mya Allen, and Chris Leoni will be appearing on season eight as “friends” of the show, rather than full-time cast members.
Also on Instagram, as Queens of Bravo shared days ago, a photo surfaced of Gabby, Amanda, Ciara, Paige, and Kyle playing a balloon-popping game amid filming.
Back in February, during an interview on E! News, Lindsay said she and Carl would likely be tying the knot sometime this fall as Carl addressed the possibility of filming the nuptials for Summer House.
“It would be crazy to me—from season one till now—to all of a sudden not see our wedding,” Carl noted. “We’ve been such big parts of the show. You’ve seen our journeys and now we’re together and you’re going to see the engagement this season and then for them not to film?”
“Imagine if we were like, ‘Alright, that’s all you get from Carl and Lindsay,’” Lindsay added.
