It’s official! Ariana Madix will be featured on Dancing With the Stars season 32.
Following months of rumors claiming she is headed to the ballroom, Ariana and judge Derek Hough confirmed the Vanderpump Rules star will be part of the fall season’s cast on Good Morning America. Plus, Katie Maloney, her co-star and fellow owner of Something About Her, where the DWTS announcement was made, shared a bikini selfie.
“Went outside for 20 [minutes]. I’m going to be a vampire forever,” Katie wrote in the caption of her July 6 post on her Instagram Story, adding the hashtags for “Twilight” and “pasty” as she posed in a blue bikini with black lace.
As Katie enjoyed a little fun in the sun, Ariana was spotted at their sandwich shop with Derek, which led many to believe an announcement was coming. And shortly thereafter, it did.

On Friday’s episode of GMA, Derek was seen inside Something About Her as he shared, “This season on Dancing with the Stars, we are going absolutely mad, mad for Madix.”
“That’s right,” Ariana replied. “I’m Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix and I will be joining the cast of Dancing With the Stars this season.”
“That’s right. Say goodbye to the drama and hello to the dance floor,” Derek continued, giving a nod to Ariana’s ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval‘s highly-controversial affair with her former bestie, Raquel Leviss, which ended their nine-year romance.
“Let’s dance,” they added.

During a May episode of Watch What Happens Live, Ariana said that despite the rumors of a role on DWTS, she hadn’t yet heard anything from ABC.
“I don’t know anything yet, it would be really cool though! You guys wanna ask me? I would love to do it,” she declared.
The rest of the cast, and Ariana’s dance partner, will be confirmed on September 13.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
