Brynn Whitfield appeared on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she offered an update on her “crushy crush” on Southern Charm cast member Shep Rose, 43.
While teasing their recent DMs, reacting to Sai De Silva, 42, declaring they’re no longer best friends, and admitting to being too hard on Jessel Taank, 43, amid her postpartum struggles, the Real Housewives of New York City star threw some major shade at series OG Ramona Singer, 66, and dished on her dating life.
“Dudes love it. They do,” Brynn, 36, said of how men have reacted to her RHONY role on the August 6 episode of WWHL.
But that doesn’t mean they want to film alongside her. In fact, Brynn added, “Everyone’s like, ‘Babe.’ They’re like busting out the NDAs.”
During a recent episode, Brynn played “Two Truths and a Lie,” where she revealed she “reverse-cowgirled” a pro athlete. And during Sunday’s show, a viewer asked for a tease about who it was.
“Super Bowl winner,” she confirmed.
According to Brynn, she’s never dated a hockey player but finds them “hot.”
“I don’t do the triple A anymore. I don’t do actors, athletes, or alcoholics,” she clarified.
Then, during a game in which she and fellow guest Marlo Hampton, 47, were asked to guess the ages of their fellow Bravolebrities, Brynn guessed that Ramona is “83.”
“That one’s for my girls. That one’s for Sai,” she added, signaling to Sai sharing that she was dissed by Ramona during Art Basel in Miami.
Looking back at the latest episode of RHONY, Brynn weighed in on being called a “cackling hag.”
“Who said it though? I think the original was [Jenna Lyons, 55]. Jenna said cackling and Jessel and then Jessel added the hag part. She went a little 18th century insult,” Brynn recalled.
As for her emotional family talk, which she confirmed she “skipped through” because it was so “tough,” Brynn said it was “amazing” to see her castmates come together.
“They’re just amazing women but also, it was so relatable,” she explained. “We all kind of, unfortunately, shared in just the past 18 months, 24 months, this common denominator of loss, especially maternal loss, so the way that they rallied was indescribable but that’s New York. We’re tough with each other but at the end of the day, we have each other’s back.”
After another fan wanted to know why she split from her most recent partner if she wants family so badly, Brynn confirmed the man in question was the “British Disney prince” and added that they “are still talking.”
“I feel like the chances are now like 25 percent, we might end up together,” she shared.
Brynn also admitted the RHONY cast was too hard on Jessel.
“She just had a baby… I never had a baby but I can’t even imagine… So I think we were really harsh. I think give it some time and I don’t think the best advice is ‘go home and f-ck your husband,'” she noted.
When Brynn was then asked about Sai saying they aren’t BFFs anymore because she can’t keep a secret, Brynn revealed there is more to the story.
“I was a little bummed out cuz I adore Sai and I think it’s gonna be interesting to see that the secret she’s referring to, who said it first on camera,” she teased.
Later, while playing a game of “Swipe Right or Call It a Night,” Brynn swiped left on Tom Schwartz, 40, and Peter Madrigal, 39, noting that she “was in [her] 20s” when she previously linked up with Peter.
“I’ll go left cuz been there done that,” she stated.
She also swiped left on Austen Kroll, 36.
“Left. I’m committed to Shep,” she joked.
Also on the show, after Brynn mentioned her “little crushy crush” on Shep, Andy Cohen, 55, wanted to know if she’s heard from him after previously expressing interest on a past episode.
“No comment,” Brynn began.
But after Andy confirmed Shep told him he was gonna DM her, Brynn gave a bit more.
“He did. He’s very sweet. He’s very smart. And it’s all PG,” she revealed.
