Leva Bonaparte clapped back at Thomas Ravenel on Instagram after the former Southern Charm cast member labeled her as “boring” and shaded the Bravo reality series’ ratings.
Over the weekend, years after he was last seen on the show, Thomas, 61, shared a series of tweets against Leva, 44, in what appeared to be a completely unprovoked diss before stating that the series has gone downhill in the years since his exit.
“Just watched the latest update on Southern Charm and can’t believe the most boring person on there is still Leva,” Thomas wrote on Twitter on Saturday, as noted by a Page Six report on September 2.
And while the tweet seems to have since been deleted, another post, in which Thomas spoke of the ratings on Southern Charm, remains visible on Twitter.
After a fan tweeted that the show “has been boring since [Thomas] left,” Thomas, who shares two children that he has full custody of with his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis, 32, responded.
“Why would you say that? Maybe [because] the viewership went from 1.5 million to 250 k??” he replied.
Later, after Page Six shared an Instagram post of the diss, Real Housewives of Miami cast member Guerdy Abraira, 45, defended her fellow Bravolebrity with a message applauding her success in the restaurant world of Charleston, South Carolina.
“…yet very successful – I’ll take that … love you [Leva Bonarparte],” she shared in a response.
Leva reacted as well, sharing a comment of her own after seeing the RHOM cast member’s kind words.
“lol when 60 something year old men keep going after women it’s odd … isn’t it?” she asked. “No point in listing what made him great TV, that would be a little much, love that he still tunes in. Wish you and the kids well Thomas. God Speed.”
Thomas appeared on Southern Charm in a full-time role for its first five seasons and was also seen briefly during season seven. Meanwhile, his former partner, Kathryn, left the show after season eight.
“I hear filming has wrapped on the latest season and she didn’t shoot at all, even though they offered her a guest appearance,” an insider told The U.S. Sun in April. “It’s surprising really as she has money troubles and has never had a real job, but she was being picky. To Kathryn, it’s all or nothing.”
“I heard she’s hired a new manager, but she’s been through so many and I don’t think she has anything new lined up at the moment,” the source added.
Southern Charm season nine premieres on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c on Bravo.
