Kyle Cooke appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he answered a series of questions about the August split between his Summer House co-stars Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard.
Following the premiere of Winter House season three, Kyle, 41, reacted to Carl, 38, calling off their engagement and detailed his last texts with Lindsay, 37, while also throwing some shade at Southern Charm stars Craig Conover, 34, and Austen Kroll, 36, weighing in on the longevity of Kory Keefer, 32, and Samantha Feher, 26, and sharing who he thinks Paige DeSorbo, 30, gossips about the most.
“It’s gotta be a housewife and I probably don’t know their name,” Kyle shared on the October 24 episode of WWHL.
After striking up a romance during the seventh season of Summer House, Kory and Sam appear to be going strong. And when asked about the relationship, Kory suggested they are a good match.
“I thought they were going the distance even though they’re long-distance but we’ll see,” he shared.
As for his comments about the Southern Charm cast, Kyle poked fun at Craig after being asked to name the qualities that make him a “loser.”
“He kinda has this one pinky that’s kind of a loser. It just kind of dangles from that knife fight he had with himself. He doesn’t like to clean, as we all know. He’s still a little too far away from my Paige,” Kyle revealed, giving a nod to Craig and Paige’s long-distance romance.
Kyle then moved on to Austen, sharing what he believes makes the Southern Charm star such a “panty dropper.”
“It’s really only one. Height,” he stated.
As the questions turned to Carl and Lindsay, Kyle was asked about whether they’d ever star alongside one another on a future season of Summer House.
“I’d like to hope so because it would be a shame if our little run here came to an end,” he replied.
Kyle also shared his last text to Lindsay.
“I text her a follow up … Just saying, ‘Hey I’m here for you. I feel bad. How can I help?’” he revealed. “I think she just said, ‘Thank you,’ and then I saw her not too long after that.”
Although Kyle and Carl are close friends, Kyle said he was given no notice of the split before it happened.
“I don’t think Carl knew he was actually calling it off until the very conversation was being had so I didn’t catch wind of that being the outcome until after the fact. It was that much kind of in the moment,” he detailed.
“It’s a very tough topic,” Kyle continued of the breakup. “I was rooting for them even though I saw the cracks in the foundation.”
According to Kyle, he was “not surprised” by the split due to what he “was privy to,” but he felt badly about the heartbreaking situation.
“Calling off a wedding is probably harder than proposing so I did not think that it might actually happen because it’s drastic so that kinda gives you a sense of the current state,” he explained. “I had a front row seat but despite that, I still was surprised.”
As for how much Carl regrets breaking off the engagement, Kyle gave a clear-cut answer: “Zero.”
Winter House season three airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
