Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent Addresses Claims of Being "Jealous" of Ariana, Last Time She Spoke to Raquel, and If Scheana is a "Flip-Flopper," Plus "Difficult" Season 11

Lala Kent is clapping back at claims of being jealous of Ariana Madix after she was seen seemingly complaining about how everyone had been treating Ariana like God following the reveal of Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

In addition to confirming when she last spoke to Raquel, 29, sharing her thoughts on the “flip-flopper” label Scheana Shay, 38, has received, and opening up about the “extremely difficult” 11th season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala, 33, revealed what’s truly made her jealous.

“I am only jealous of a couple of things in this world. Anyone who gets to make out with Odell Beckham. Jealous. And anybody who gets their children full-time all day every day… I am jealous of anyone who is in those two situations,” Lala clarified during a December 13 appearance on Amazon Live.

As for Ariana, 38, Lala said she’s “so happy for my friend.”

“I have always been a fan of hers. I think that showed throughout the years. Have we had our ups and downs? Absolutely. But to see my friend thrive after such heartbreak, I am so happy for her, and I am so proud of her,” Lala stated. “She belonged on Dancing With the Stars. She’s talented as it gets. She belongs on Broadway. The girl can dance. The girl has pipes. The girl can act. She deserves everything that is coming her way.”

Lala then noted that when it came to what she said in the trailer (“I’ve never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly, she becomes God”), there was context missing.

“You’re going to be surprised as to why I say that. Yes, it was definitely taken out of context, but again, that’s what the trailer is meant to do. It riled everyone up. Everyone is talking about the trailer. Everyone is giving their feedback. People are arguing in the comments section. That’s what we want,” she noted. “The second no one has an opinion on the television we’re making, we no longer have a show.”

Following the breaking of “Scandoval,” Raquel checked into a mental health facility, and she later confirmed she would not be returning to Pump Rules for season 11. Since then, she and Lala have not spoken.

“There was no last time that I spoke to Rachel,” Lala explained. “The last time that I spoke at Rachel was at the reunion. It’s a rare occasion that I speak to her. I’m usually just like purging onto her. She’s got her podcast or whatever coming out though so that should be… Who knows.”

Because Scheana has spent time with Sandoval since learning he cheated on Ariana, many have accused her of being a “flip-flopper.” But Lala doesn’t agree.

“I don’t yell at Scheana for being a flip-flopper because I don’t think she is a flip-flopper. I think you guys hold people to what they said 500 years ago. I reserve the right to today say I love chocolate and tomorrow, tell you all I actually hate chocolate… Scheana’s not a flip-flopper, it’s called being torn,” Lala explained. “And people experience being torn all the time. The difference is you don’t have a camera on you when you sit there and have moments of being unsure about how you feel.”

“I think everyone needs to ease up on Scheana a little bit … It’s getting tired,” she added.

Also during the appearance, Lala admitted season 11 was difficult to film.

“It was extremely difficult… It had everything to do with where I was or am I guess. Where I was this summer was very intense,” she shared. “I literally cried every single day in every single scene. It was mortifying but I literally did not know how to process any of the emotions that I was feeling. I’ve never felt more vulnerable, more exposed, more weak. I didn’t even recognize myself. I was like, ‘I have no fight in me. This is crazy. I have never experienced this ever in my life and I don’t know what to attribute it to.’ I think it will be a great season but it was a weird one.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30, at 8/7c on Bravo.
