Melissa Gorga opened up about some drama Andy Cohen had with her mom, Donna Marco, on an episode of her podcast last week.
After welcoming Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gina Kirschenheiter, 39, to her show and discussing Gina’s own drama with Andy, 55, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 44, admitted Andy upset her mom on Watch What Happens Live before dishing on her cast’s group text and reacting to being called “boring.”
“She was the jackhole,” Melissa revealed on the December 14 episode of On Display With Melissa Gorga, giving a nod to Andy’s “Jackhole” segment on WWHL.
Looking back on the tiff, Melissa said that Andy poked fun at the fact that Donna had encouraged her to follow in the footsteps of Larsa Pippen, 49, of The Real Housewives of Miami, and join OnlyFans.
“My mom was so annoyed that she was the Jackhole for saying something about she wanted me to be on OnlyFans because Larsa sells her feet on OnlyFans, and my mom texted me and was like, ‘You need to be on OnlyFans. You have the most beautiful feet,'” Melissa shared.
But when she brought up the issue to Andy, he had no recollection of the diss.
“He was like, ‘I didn’t even realize that it was like, the Jackhole.’ And I believe [him],” Melissa revealed. “It’s all in good fun when you’re on Watch What Happens Live, most of the time.”
As Melissa continues to be estranged from her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, 51, who she hasn’t spoken to since the RHONJ season 13 reunion earlier this year, she was recently met with the dreaded group text.
“I won’t say who, but one of our cast members started a group text with all of us in it and was like ‘Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.’ And we were all like, ‘Whoa,'” Melissa explained. “It was just a weird thing and I texted back in the group text but it was just awkward and weird, and some of the other cast members would call me and be like, ‘Why did she put us all together?’ It’s weird, but I do appreciate it.”
As for the ongoing allegations of being “boring” on RHONJ, Melissa said she doesn’t give much weight to the criticism.
“I always giggle at the haters because it’s like, they’ll say things like, ‘Oh, she’s boring,’ or, ‘She doesn’t belong, we don’t want to watch her. Take her off the show,’ and I’m like, ‘Well why is every single tweet and every single thing on your timeline about me or a picture of me or a horrible picture of me or whatever you can find that day to say about me?'” Melissa asked. “If I’m so boring, stop thinking about me. Think about your queen or whoever you love. Stop talking about me.”
“You really can’t call them haters because they’re in there. They’re watching. They’re definitely fans,” she added.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 will premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
