Alexis Bellino is shutting down recent claims made by Scheana Shay in regard to their supposed interaction at BravoCon in November 2023.
After the 38-year-old Vanderpump Rules cast member claimed on her podcast that she reprimanded the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 46, in defense of her friend, Gretchen Rossi, 45, after Alexis shaded Gretchen’s partner, Slade Smiley, 50, Alexis slammed her allegations as “lies” and refuted a report suggesting she’ll return full-time for season 18 amid her new romance with Shannon Beador‘s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen.
After coming across Reality Blurb‘s January 2 article, titled, “Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay Shares Why She Reprimanded Alexis Bellino at BravoCon and How Andy Cohen Intervened Following Her On-Stage Comment,” Alexis took to her Instagram Story to fire back at Scheana’s claims.
“Been trying to enjoy my holiday out of the media and this lie comes up. It never happened. FYI. I never spoke to her. Just smiled,” Alexis wrote on January 3, along with the “lies” hashtag.
During an episode of Scheananigans last month, Scheana said she was upset by Alexis giving a nod to Slade’s past with numerous RHOC cast members, including Jo De La Rosa, 43, and Lauri Peterson, 63, and claimed to have confronted her about it.
“Alexis comes up and introduces herself to me. I was like, ‘Ugh, I can’t bite my tongue, you made my friend so uncomfortable.’ I was like, ‘Oh you’re the girl who said something really rude about my friend’s husband. Right? Nice to meet you.’ And she was just like, ‘Uh.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah not cool.’ And I just, like, walked away,” Scheana alleged.
Also on Instagram, Alexis clapped back at a report regarding her supposed return to RHOC.
“Okay.. I have this on very very very good authority… and I do trust this source.. but if you have doubts… save this post and let’s revisit it in a few weeks,” Cici Loves You told their Instagram followers last week, along with an insider tip.
“Alexis and John will be filming middle of January 100 [percent] not a friend role and 100 [percent] full housewife role,” the tip stated.
But according to Alexis, who has since spoken out, the report is false.
“THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!” she wrote in response to the report, as seen in a screenshot shared by The Real Housewives Zone on Instagram.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 is expected to begin filming sometime this month.
