Vanderpump Rules' Ariana Madix Sues Tom Sandoval Over Sale of $2 Million Home as Lawsuit Details Are Revealed Plus What She Wants Judge to Do

Ariana Madix has filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, amid her efforts to unload the $2 million home they’ve shared for the past several years, including the months that followed the reveal of his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

As the former Vanderpump Rules couple continues to co-own the home, Ariana, 38, is taking legal measures that she hopes will force Sandoval, 41, into selling the home, which they purchased in 2019, so that they can both move on with their lives.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on January 5 and filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court, Ariana wants a “partition by sale,” in which a judge would order her and Sandoval to sell their home and split the profits, rather than a “division in kind,” which would allow them to maintain an ownership interest in the property and — and potentially let one of them sell the property to a third party.

Ariana’s filing comes just weeks after a sneak peek at the upcoming 11th season of Pump Rules featured her complaining to Katie Maloney, 36, about Sandoval’s hesitancy to sell.

“Three months ago, when Tom blew up our lives, I was not, like, prepared to be kicked out of my house and start a whole new freaking life. So even though we still live under the same roof, I’ve been able to maintain a no-contact policy. We communicate via his assistant Anne, which is great for me because I don’t have to look at his stupid face, but bad for Anne because that’s literally her job,” Ariana revealed.

Ariana then said that because she and Sandoval weren’t in agreement about the fate of their home, they had continued to live there together.

“I feel like the house is the last thing that’s tying things. But what I think is psychotic is that he wants to buy me out and stay here,” Ariana shared. “You don’t have to move, and I do? What, are you gonna bring your little pen pal back over here? I don’t f*cking think so.”

Around the same time, Ariana appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she spoke of how she’s been handling the co-owning of her home with Sandoval.

“During the time that I’ve been on Dancing With the Stars and preparing for it, I, for the most part, have been in an Airbnb with my dog and my cat and some of my things, but I regularly go back and forth, and I’m working on the situation with the ownership of the house. I would love for that to be resolved quickly,” Ariana explained.

“Whatever happens with it has to be agreed upon between both owners, hence the issue. I wanna sell it. He does not,” she added.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30, at 8/7c on Bravo.
