RHONJ's Luis Ruelas and P.I. Bo Dietl Accused of Hacking Computer of Luis's Ex in Lawsuit, Amid Claims of “Harassment and Abuse” Campaign Against Vanessa Reiser

Luis Ruelas and private investigator Bo Dietl, 73, are facing a new lawsuit that accuses them of allegedly illegally hacking computers to launch a “harassment and abuse” campaign against Vanessa Reiser, Luis’ former fiancée.

In the lawsuit, filed Monday by a group of lawyers, Luis, 48, and the investigator, 73, who was accused of investigating the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast on Luis’ behalf amid season 13, are said to have gained access to private information on Luis’ former partner, who was not mentioned by name in the case.

According to court docs obtained by Page Six on February 13, Luis, Bo, and others illegally hacked computers “with criminal, reckless, malicious, fraudulent intent devised to defraud” the plaintiffs and hide their “own misdeeds.”

The lawyers, including Kevin Johnson, who confirmed Vanessa’s identity to the Daily Beast, also accused them of using “subterfuge, dissemination and other fraudulent pretext” to back up their alleged “harassment and abuse” campaign against Luis’ ex.

“[They] took [files] both private and professional in masse from those computers illegally accessed by the same,” the lawsuit states.

Luis, Bo, and their supposed co-conspirators are being accused of violating the Federal Wiretap Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and the New Jersey Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Control Act, and they’re being sued for damages.

Back in October of last year, Vanessa’s request for a permanent restraining order against Luis was denied after Kevin testified for her in court.

“The plaintiff previously testified under oath in court regarding his own conduct in this matter and was found to be not credible by the trial judge,” an insider claimed. “The court also found that the plaintiff had a bizarre obsession with ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ This is clearly an extension of that obsession. The court previously found that neither Bo Dietl or Luis Ruelas did anything wrong. This is beyond frivolous and will ultimately be dismissed by a court.”

A source connected to Bo also spoke out about the lawsuit, saying, “Bo can’t wait to see the evidence that this confused individual has to prove any of what he alleges. You have a better shot of seeing the Tooth Fairy, but won’t, because neither exists.”

“This is beyond frivolous and will ultimately be dismissed by a court,” another insider added.

Luis has been married to Teresa Giudice, 51, since August 2022.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this spring.
