Jeremy Madix took aim at misinformation on Instagram after being accused of shading Ariana Madix‘s boyfriend Daniel Wai.
After sharing an Instagram comment in which he raised suspicions about Daniel, 40, and praised Lala Kent, 33, for interrogating him on the show, the Vanderpump Rules guest star returned to social media with a stern message for those who’ve criticized him and defended Ariana, who he confirmed an estrangement from in March.
“What I cannot fathom is the audacity of those who weave a web of falsehoods in defense of someone they claim to support,” Jeremy wrote in his Story, as seen in a post shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram. “It’s disheartening to witness individuals propagate baseless rumors and misinformation about me, all in a misguided attempt to champion my sister, whom they DO NOT know nor truly understand.”
According to Jeremy, he feels that certain people have been swayed by “sensationalism” or the “temptation to vilify others without cause,” and he wishes they would instead be empathetic and rational.
“So to those who seek to defend my sister at the expense of my reputation, I implore you to pause, reflect, and consider the consequences of your words,” he continued. “In the realm of social justice and progressive ideals, let us uphold the principles of integrity and accountability, lest we succumb to the very injustice we claim to abhor.”
Jeremy also added, “Headlines are not FACTS.”
In his comment regarding Daniel days ago, Jeremy had said, “After everything that happened I’m side-eyeing EVERYBODY. Lala is being protective of Ariana by asking all the right questions.”
The message came in response to a clip from Pump Rules in which Lala was seen asking Daniel about his career, thoughts on children, and past relationships.
