PHOTOS: The Valley's Kristen Doute is Engaged to Luke Broderick! See Pics From His Sunset Boat Proposal in Hawaii and Her 4.27-Carat Emerald Cut Diamond Engagement RingIt’s official! Kristen Doute is engaged.

Following two years of dating, the 41-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum and current The Valley star accepted a sunset boat proposal from boyfriend Luke Broderick, 33, in Maui, Hawaii, where the cast recently traveled for a group trip.

“It was a total surprise,” Kristen told Us Weekly on September 6. “I knew from the moment we met that Luke was my person. I am so excited to continue this journey together, now as fiancés.”

According to the report, Luke, who moved into a home with Kristen at the start of The Valley season two months ago, told her to watch for dolphins before getting down on one knee. Right away, Kristen erupted in expletives as Luke presented her with a 14K white gold, 4.27-carat Emerald cut diamond ring with a half-carat worth of diamonds on the band.

Also featured in the ring, which Luke picked out with Kyle Chan, a close friend of Kristen’s ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, 42, was a hidden halo that represents the “love around the center diamond, ‘Kristen.’”

Moments ago, Kristen took to her Instagram page to share some engagement photos.

She captioned her post: “I’m wrapped around your finger like this ring i’m wearing 💍 🤟🏽 out of the all the fish in the sea, you chose me (and thank you to our bestie @kylechandesign for creating the most beautiful ring!!).”

As Pump Rules fans will recall, Kristen and Luke went public in December 2022 after meeting at a wedding, where they walked down the aisle together as a bridesmaid and groomsman.

After hooking up immediately after the nuptials, Kristen and Luke embarked on a romance and teamed up on their shared podcast, Sex, Love and What Else Matters. That said, Kristen admitted to being hesitant to date Luke due to their eight-year age difference and the fact that Luke, a hunter, was living in Colorado.

“I battled with being, like, your person. I love you so much, but just the thought of being someone’s girlfriend again threw me through a loop because I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother,” she explained. “Most of all, I just want to be a mother and a partner. And I was so tired of being a girlfriend for a couple of years and then having sh*t fall apart.”

“You tried really hard not to fall in love with me and not to let this become a thing because of my age, because of the distance, because of these factors that when you think about it logically, like, how can this work?” Luke noted.

A year into the romance, Kristen revealed she and Luke were planning to start a family together. But sadly, a short time later, she confirmed she’d suffered a miscarriage. Since then, Kristen has made it clear that she’s not in a rush to have a baby.

“My psychic [told me last year] that I had a boy waiting on the other side for me but that I was not going to get pregnant when I was 40. It was going to be somewhere between 41 and 42,” she explained. “That’s when we truthfully started talking about our plans to try. I decided not to put pressure on myself because I believe my psychic. I am not going to worry about having a baby in 2023.”

Kristen and Luke’s engagement is expected to be a storyline on The Valley season two, as is Jax Taylor, 45, and Brittany Cartwright‘s split.

The Valley season two is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
