Taylor Frankie Paul‘s ex-husband, Tate Paul, has offered a subtle response to the shocking video of the former Bachelorette star assaulting her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, with their daughter caught in the crossfire that was leaked last week.
After the 31-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star temporarily lost custody of the two-year-old son she shares with Dakota, 33, despite suggesting that she was the real victim, Tate reposted a video titled, “Taylor Frankie Paul downplaying her 2023 arrest for 1m31s.”
In the leaked video of Taylor going after Dakota, she was seen hitting and kicking him before attacking him with chairs, ultimately leading to her and Tate’s daughter reportedly getting hit in the head. Meanwhile, Tate had allegedly been told that the child wasn’t involved.

The first video Tate reposted is below, which shows Taylor downplaying the 2023 domestic violence incident.

While there were initial doubts that it was actually Tate who reshared the clip, he confirmed it was him by making one of his videos public. Then, after allowing his non-followers to see a video remix he made, Tate further solidified his identity by “liking” messages from his online audience, one of which read, “HE’S SHOWING THIS OLD POST FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF PROVING THAT THIS IS HIS REAL ACCOUNT.”

In an Instagram video shared by Stephanie Tleiji, other messages “liked” by Tate were seen.
“Tate made this video public so that all the people who are trying to say this isn’t his account can see that it clearly is. He’s trying to prove a point. It’s his account, he reposted the videos he reposted, and he’s obviously rightfully upset with everything that’s out now,” one of the messages stated.
Tate also “liked” a response to someone suggesting he was “calculated” in his response.
“He just posted a video so y’all would stop saying it’s not his real account since this is from 2022,” the message had said.
