Dorit Kemsley put Erika Jayne on blast after she failed to show up to her book party on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
As Dorit, 49, also revealed that she needed a break from their friendship and slammed the cast for canceling on her at the last minute, Erika, 54, revealed whether she had any regrets about not going, and the other women, including Kyle Richards, 57, and Sutton Stracke, 54, explained why they decided not to attend.
“What the f*ck did I do to Erika? I would like to know,” Dorit declared on the April 16 episode of RHOBH: After Show. “That’s behavior when a friend does something really f*cked up, I mean, so f*cked up that you’re like, I need a f*cking pause. Someone did something so f*cked up that you actually need a minute.”
According to Dorit, her co-stars, aside from Erika, let her know they wouldn’t be at her event at the last minute.
“Kyle, an hour before the party, sends me a message. She’s tired and working on her daughter’s wedding, blah, blah, blah … Sutton, an hour into the party, sends a message. It was like, okay … And Erika, nothing,” she recalled. “It was like two hours into the party, and someone’s like, ‘Where’s Erika?’ And I was like ‘She’s not here,’ and I picked up my phone, and I was like, ‘No, there’s just no f*cking way.”
“It was so hard for me to process. You know when your body and your mind almost suppress something because it’s too painful?” she continued.
Looking back, Dorit questioned Erika’s past claims as she called for a “pause.”
“You don’t say, ‘I love you, Dorit, we’re always gonna be friends, you and I are good. We’re always gonna be good,’ I think about my future and the people I want to give my love to, my heart to, I want to spend time with, I need a pause,” she admitted.
As for Erika, she explained that she was “very hurt” after her heated argument with Dorit in Italy.
“After the fight that Dorit and I got in Italy, I was very hurt. And I [wasn’t] doin’ it … [And] I didn’t care [if it was going to make it worse],” she explained.
Then noting that she did not have any regrets, Erika said, “I was very firm in how I felt.”
“I look forward to celebrating with Dorit when she has her book out, and it’s here, and she’s written it, and time has passed, and we can have a conversation. And hopefully we are all in a better place,” Erika continued. “I want to celebrate that with her. But I also know that I’m not going to an event where I don’t feel good or welcome. And that’s okay too. And I do believe in my heart, as I sit here today, that Dorit and I will work it out some way, somehow.”
Speaking of her decision not to attend Dorit’s book party, Kyle said, “I honestly was exhausted, and my daughter’s wedding was a couple days away, at that point.”
As for Sutton, she added, “I’m pretty sure that when somebody tells you they’re gonna hate you forever, that’s a pretty clear reason not to go to something.”
Elsewhere, as Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, said she was “very surprised” that Erika didn’t show up, Rachel Zoe, 54, reflected on a discussion she had with Erika before Dorit’s event.
“I spent time with Erika before the launch. I remember saying, ‘But you’ll text her and let her know you’re not gonna go.’ In my mind, [Dorit] had already known she [wasn’t] coming,” Rachel explained.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion begins next Thursday, April 23, at 8/7c on Bravo.
