Jessi Draper took aim at MomTok for their apparent lack of support for both her and Taylor Frankie Paul on her Instagram page on Sunday.
After sharing a post about “single Jessi” amid her messy split from Jordan Ngatikaura, 31, the 33-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star “liked” a comment from a fan as she also opened up about enduring breakdowns and feeling isolated after walking away from abuse.
“It’s wild how the minute you and Taylor do things the other momtok members don’t agree with they stop posting ‘support’ on all your posts. Life is messy; true friends don’t bail when it gets messy. It actually says way more about who they are,” the fan had written in a comment on Jessi’s April 19 post that Jessi ultimately “liked.”
The following day, on April 20, Jessi shared a more emotional message with her fans and followers, opening up about what they don’t see.
“No one ever understands the pain until you go through it yourself. Just remember tv and online clips never tell the full story,” she wrote.
Then, in a caption over a clip of herself in the car, Jessi added, “What you see: headlines about my life … fun nights out … poor decision making at times … social media clips.”
“What you don’t see: panic attacks … journaling and therapy … praying to God, breakdowns on the bathroom floor … fun nights to distract from the gut wrenching pain … guilt and shame … feeling isolated and alone … stepping away from abuse for myself and my children but still questioning my reality every day,” she continued.
In recent weeks, as Jessi and Taylor, 31, endured their own set of challenges, including the cancellation of Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette and the leaked videos of her many fights with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, 33, the ladies have been open about their public support for one another as many of their SLOMW castmates seemingly distanced themselves from the drama.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently on pause amid its fifth season.
