Rosie DiMare addressed her drama with Kelsey Swanson on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also shaded Kelsey’s friendship with Liz McGraw, reacted to Liz suggesting she was the most “annoying” cast member on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and explained her feud with Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Rosie teased the upcoming reunion taping and denied that Kelsey’s bullhorn stunt on Sunday’s RHORI episode was funny.
“No … and I don’t think any normal people will think it’s funny either,” Rosie stated on the May 17 episode of WWHL. “I didn’t think it was funny. I didn’t think the lack of understanding here, these, it’s been weeks of her just coming at me, and I’m still inviting you over and being nice. Just come over and … don’t be mean to my dog.”
After admitting she was “triggered” by the way Kelsey treated her dog, Rosie explained her slam pig diss.
“A slam pig is a New England term for someone you really don’t like. If you look on Urban Dictionary, it basically describes her. So just look it up. It’s pretty accurate,” she shared.
As for her questions about Kelsey’s love life, Rosie said she didn’t mean to suggest Kelsey was a polygamist.
“I was just trying to figure out who she was dating and how many people she was dating and if the rumors in Rhode Island versus what she was saying was true,” Rosie reasoned. “I should’ve used polyamory, not polygamist, but also, wasn’t she with this guy for like 10 years? Isn’t that common law?”
Moving on to Kelsey’s new home, where she moved after her split from her ex-boyfriend, rumored to have been John Caprio, Rosie described it as “small but cozy.”
“It’s free. That must be nice. And it’s barely used,” she added, admitting she did not think Kelsey was “better off” after leaving her ex’s mansion.
Regarding how Kelsey is a good friend to Liz, Rosie threw shade.
“That she does whatever Liz wants,” she stated.
Rosie then mentioned her feud with Jo-Ellen, who confirmed she was ignoring her texts during her own WWHL appearance earlier this month.
“We were texting yesterday. We texted a couple days ago. I wished her a happy Mother’s Day. But also like, if you’re gonna make fun of my business and make fun of me, then don’t expect me to give you tips on what you should charge to be an influencer. I’m not responding to your text, you know? Boundaries. It’s fair,” Rosie reasoned. “She was like, ‘What do you charge for this or that? Now that I have followers, I want to know what to do.’ And I was like, ‘Well, if you hadn’t just made fun of my little TV show and done all these other things, I would help you. But now I’m not gonna.”
As for Liz saying she was the most annoying and irritating cast member, Rosie replied, “I think that she likes people that are very agreeable and I’m not very agreeable, and I can see how that would be very annoying and irritating.”
Also on the live broadcast, after admitting she wasn’t so sure if Brian Pontarelli was on a call about “emergency foot surgery,” Rosie spoke of why she and her castmates felt it was best for Alicia Carmody to break the news to Rulla Pontarelli about the video Jo-Ellen obtained of Brian and his alleged mistress.
“I don’t know why we chose Alicia to do that because she’s the least likely to do it, but she was the closest to Rulla at the time,” she explained.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Rosie issued a warning to her co-stars in regard to the upcoming reunion.
“There’s a lot of things they don’t want me to bring at the reunion, and unfortunately, they better get ready because I come with receipts,” she declared.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
