Lala Kent clapped back at Mauricio Umansky on her podcast on Wednesday after he labeled her a “f*cking liar” in regard to a DM he sent her on the heels of his split from Kyle Richards.
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and realtor, 55, lashed out at her, suggesting that she had been untruthful about the way she portrayed the message he sent her, Lala, 35, of The Valley, slammed him as “old” as she signaled what she deemed a “mid-life crisis,” told him he should be embarrassed by his antics, and shared a screenshot of the DM in question.
“The claim is that he slid into my DM, and I went on the podcast last week and talked about how he asked me out on a date. I have the exact DM. It is literally what I portrayed,” Lala declared on the May 20 episode of Untraditionally Lala.
As Lala noted, she explained to her audience that Mauricio was “trying to do damage control” after hearing what she had to say about his separation from Kyle, 57.
“I never said you asked me on a date. I talked about how I spoke about you and Kyle on the podcast. You didn’t like what I was saying,” she clarified.
She then told Mauricio he was “old enough to be my f*cking dad, calling a 35-year-old a f*cking liar,” as she seemingly signaled his behavior with women in recent years.
“I really, really had high hopes for you, dog, [but] for you as a grown man to go out and handle this the way you did, you should feel so embarrassed and ashamed, but why would someone like you feel embarrassed or ashamed? We’ve all seen you out and about mid-life crisis-ing over and over again,” she noted.

Lala then concluded, “You will not come for me like that. I’m a lot of things. I’m not a f*cking liar.”

Along with her podcast episode, Lala shared a screenshot of Mauricio’s DM, which he had previously made public.
“Hey Lala how are you ? Hey I am wondering since you seem to have an opinion and speculations about me as to whether I am a player or not I would like to talk to you. Let me know if you are up for that. By phone or happy to get a coffee ?” it read.
And, below it, Lala was asked if she wanted to accept the message.
Lala originally shared the details of Mauricio’s DM during the May 6 episode of her podcast, and she did appear to describe it accurately.
“I don’t even know if I should be sharing this. It happened so long ago. I have to say, when I was doing the podcast with [Easton Burningham] and my old assistant, [Jessica Walter], I got the weirdest DM,” Lala recalled earlier this month. “And I was talking about Kyle and Mau at this time, and this was like at the height of them not really knowing what they were doing. But I got a DM of him saying something along the lines of, you know, I talk about him on my podcast, and he would like to grab a coffee.”
After getting the message, Lala decided that her best response was no response.
“I just never opened it or responded. Like, there’s not a chance,” she shared, as she suspected that he wanted to discuss what she’d chatted about on her podcast.
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
