West Wilson reacted to Ciara Miller thinking he struck up a romance with Amanda Batula to embarrass her on his podcast on Monday.
As he also explained his timeline with Ciara, 30, addressed his betrayal of both her and Kyle Cooke, 43, and offered an update on his relationship with Amanda, 34, the 31-year-old Summer House star admitted that going out in public is “scary,” responded to recent rumors, including one that linked him to Jennifer Fessler, 57, and more.
“I was just like, why is that something I would ever do?” West wondered of Ciara’s suspicion on the May 25 episode of Show Me Something. “That’s the thing with this reality TV sh*t, is like, so many people interpret things differently. If I tried to fight everyone’s different opinion on sh*t I’ve done, I would be f*cking dead and like, on the floor. It’s just not worth reacting to sh*t like that.”
“But obviously not the case,” he added.
According to West, who confessed to feeling like he’d been in “survival mode” for the past two months, he and Ciara rekindled their romance at the end of last summer.
“The end of summer, we were like canoodling again. But in the episode, I told [Ben Waddell] that I wasn’t trying to be a boyfriend or whatever. [But] I think it’s still a shock to the system, and people feel betrayed, and I’m not trying to convince anyone that their feelings don’t matter because they do,” he clarified. “I know people’s feelings are hurt, especially Ciara and Kyle. No sh*t.”
Regarding his relationship with Amanda, West said they are “doing our best” to cope with the ongoing backlash and rumors they’ve faced.
“Going out in public is kind of scary. There have been so many f*cking stupid f*cking posts on the internet … It’s been so weird,” he explained. “[And] I was just trying to survive and keep it moving and like, stay distracted. And I kind of have run out of steam the last few weeks. I’ve had a lot of time to think and reflect.”
As for the suggestion that Amanda was “wearing all [his] clothes,” West pointed out that “people do wear striped shirts.”
“People just post anything, and it works. But a lot of people have been like, ‘She wears your clothes all the time.’ And like, no, we actually do dress the same,” he insisted.
As for the Jennifer rumor, West said, “Ciara started it, said we hooked up,” before setting the record straight.
“We didn’t, but I am close with her and she’s f*cking awesome and I love Jenn. [But] Jenn was pissed,” he shared. “Jenn made a video, being like, ‘West is so nice. He’s not trying to hurt anyone, blah blah blah blah blah’ … I want to defend Jenn cuz she’s, Jenn’s f*cking married and has f*cking kids. It’s f*cking insane for people to do that sh*t.”
As for why Ciara said they hooked up, West continued, “I don’t think [Ciara would] make it up, but I’m sure she believes it. But that’s a crazy thing to just post.”
