Amanda Batula and West Wilson were reportedly spotted in Italy with his parents by a fan.
Days after it was revealed that the couple had flown to Europe to attend his cousin’s wedding, the Summer House couple, who were first believed to be dodging backlash amid the series’ reunion, which saw them facing off with their exes, Kyle Cooke, 43, and Ciara Miller, 30, the Bravo viewer detailed a sighting in Cinque Terre.
“I was in this tiny, super romantic town on the coast of Italy, walking through a tunnel that connects the beaches through the mountains, when I heard the most obnoxious voice. We started joking about how that’s why American tourists get a bad wrap. When the group walked past us, I realized the voice was Amanda talking loudly amongst her group of 5. She was easy to notice, even with her big hat,” a Reddit user wrote on May 29. “Amanda was lagging behind, and no one really seemed to be paying attention to what she was trying to say. She was really animated and showing or looking at something on her phone.”
Although the person admitted that they weren’t 100 percent sure who Amanda, 34, and West, 31, were with, they said it “seemed to be with one of their sets of parents” before noting that they didn’t “look like hers.”
“It looked like they may have been his parents based on what we’ve seen of them,” they wrote.
“West was walking a bit ahead with the mom, an older white woman with straight (almost white) blonde hair. He had on a backwards brown Elwood hat and his head down most of the time. He wasn’t talking, besides an occasional comment to the mom. He kind of just ignored the rest of the group the whole time,” they continued.
The insider went on to describe the parents as looking “happy” and being “sweet and nurturing,” adding that there was also a brunette woman in tow.
“At one point, the dad (short brown hair, black baseball cap) waited for Amanda to catch up and gently patted her back and put his arms around the girls in a fatherly way,” they noted.
As for Amanda, the source commented on her frame.
“Amanda looks extremely thin. I cannot overstate how shocking it was to see in person. No one I was with even knows what [Summer House] is, and they mentioned it when I pointed her out,” they stated. “Obviously, she deserves to be called out and take accountability. No question about that. There is a part of me, however, that feels like whatever this life is she’s living right now is punishment enough.”
Regarding Amanda, the Reddit user added, “West looked super uncomfortable, in my opinion, and I didn’t see him turn around to look at her or acknowledge her once … Despite how much Amanda seemed to be [trying to] carry a conversation.”
The second installment of the Summer House season 10 reunion airs next Tuesday, June 2, at 8/7c on Bravo.
