Taylor Ann Green weighed in on Salley Carson‘s reaction to her and Gaston Rojas‘ breakup, while also detailing a secret falling out with TJ Dinch and teasing a potential appearance on the upcoming season of Southern Hospitality on Tuesday’s episode of Nick Viall‘s podcast.
Following Salley’s post about being right that Gaston, whom the 31-year-old Southern Charm star previously dated, was an “awful person,” Taylor weighed in on her public statement, revealed that TJ, 35, gave her a friendship ultimatum, and explained a TikTok she shared in regard to Gaston’s alleged other woman.
“My initial thought was, ‘Please don’t make this about yourself,'” Taylor said of Salley’s post on the June 2 episode of The Viall Files. “‘You did not date him. You did not spend an extensive amount of time with him. We can agree that, sure, he’s a cheater.’ But it just felt very, like, there’s a reason why I didn’t reach out to her when things all happened.”
According to Taylor, she reached out to some of Gaston’s exes after learning he allegedly cheated on her, but not to Salley, since she hadn’t dated him for very long.
Also during the interview, after noting that she “might do a little cameo” on the upcoming season of Southern Hospitality, Taylor confirmed she and TJ had a falling out due to her romance with Gaston.
“TJ and I were kind of in, not a tiff … but he had texted me and said that he did not want to continue a friendship with me if I was still dating [Gaston],” she shared. “He told me recently, because I obviously rekindled my friendship with him, that he knew about what was going on, and he just didn’t know how to tell me, obviously, because who am I gonna believe? TJ or my partner, and, of course, I’m gonna believe my partner.”
“That was just another friend who my ex was pulling me away from, and I think that’s because there was information that he knew about,” she added.
As for the TikTok clip she shared after her split, which claimed Gaston’s rumored other woman had pulled up next to a boat she was on, Taylor confirmed it was the woman who reportedly began a romance with Gaston last October.
“That is the alleged woman that was involved or has been involved since October … She was back in town for the weekend, surprisingly enough, on his birthday weekend. Good timing,” Taylor stated.
