Angela Oakley clapped back at the idea that she was not supportive of her daughter Ahmauri Marie‘s lesbianism on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

After taking issue with the 24-year-old’s wedding on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which Ahmauri hid for months, Angela, 45, explained her thoughts on the nuptials, revealed when she first heard the rumor about Shamea Morton, 44, and an NBA player, and shaded Kelli Ferrell‘s finances while also reacting to Rihanna, 38, reaching out, dishing on her marriage to Charles Oakley, 62, and more.

“Ahmauri has been with her wife since she was 12 … a long time. This is Ahmauri’s person. Family vacations, trips, holidays, I just wanted to be a part of them getting married,” Angela explained of her problem with the wedding on the June 21 episode of WWHL.

Moving on to Shamea, Angela answered a series of questions, starting with when she first heard rumors about her cheating, and whether she heard them from anyone but Charles.

“Last season, Shamea admitted that rumors of her infidelity has been around since the cat was a kitten, so I didn’t create any rumors about Shamea, now hearing those rumors, yes, I did hear them from sources other than my husband,” she confirmed, adding that she “[doesn’t] blame” Gerald Mwangi, 63, for being uncomfortable with his wife’s on-camera love scenes.

That said, Angela agreed that the couple’s marriage was solid.

“Shamea and I have vacationed together … they have a rock-solid marriage,” she stated.

As for why she and Shamea aren’t solid, Angela suspected Porsha Williams, 45, was to blame.

“[Shamea’s] throwing rocks at me when she wants to throw rocks at someone else,” Angela shared, denying that she was involved in Shamea and Porsha’s falling out.

Angela then shaded Kelli, 41, by suggesting that her co-star only enlisted Phaedra Parks, 52, to represent her amid her divorce because she “[didn’t] have the money to pay anybody and Phaedra’s doing it for free,” and added that she “spends a lot” trying to keep up with a lifestyle.

“If you can’t afford it, don’t partake,” Angela advised.

Regarding Rihanna’s amused reaction to her Papa Smurf and Mr. Clean shade against Pinky Cole, 38, on RHOA, Angela said that while she hasn’t reached out personally, she appreciated the accolade.

“She reached out to me so you all could see her to reach out to me,” she noted. “That was better than being contacted in the DMs. So I was so gagged. I came in the house, I was like, ‘Charles! Rihanna reached out to me!’ So Rihanna, I love you. I am a fan of Rihanna. I love her. That’s my girl. Like, we friends now.”

Also on the live broadcast, Angela confirmed she and Charles are still in marriage counseling.

“Counseling is forever, and my biggest takeaway is that I’m not always right. Like, sometimes Charles can be right,” she admitted.

“She always thinks she’s right, so I just let her go and let her have it her way cuz arguing will go nowhere. It’s bad … So I just say, ‘hey, it’s your way,’” Charles confirmed.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, after confirming she would like to appear on The Traitors, Angela was asked whether Drew Sidora, 41, or K. Michelle, 44, was the better singer.

“I’m split down the middle. I love both the girls. Both of them have sung the National Anthem to perfection,” she stated.

Angela then noted that she was “excited” to “speak [her] piece” at the reunion, and she dished on her blowup during the cast’s trip to Scotland.

“I [saw] a side of me I [did] not recognize. And I told my husband, I was like, ‘Who was she?’ It comes out a little bit,” she confirmed.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
