Annemarie Wiley accused her husband, Marcellus Wiley, of threatening to kill her and poking her in the cheek before he was arrested for domestic battery in Orlando, Florida, over the Fourth of July holiday.
According to a couple of new reports, the 42-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who appeared on just one season of the Bravo reality show, told police that she was planning to divorce Marcellus, 51, due to his history of alleged unreported domestic abuse as a Florida judge entered a no-contact order against him, banning him from communicating with his spouse.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ on July 6, the alleged incident between Annemarie and Marcellus, a former NFL player, occurred in a hotel room at the World Marriott in Orlando on Saturday afternoon.
At the time, Annemarie had called the cops, requesting they remove him from the room and claiming he had threatened to take her life.
As the outlet revealed, Annemarie and Marcellus were joined in the hotel room not only by their own three kids, but also by other children who were in town for a basketball tournament.
Per the affidavit, Annemarie reported that Marcellus had gotten physical with her on Friday morning as she sat in bed.
“[Marcellus] used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek,” the report stated, noting that their seven-year-old daughter was present.
The former Bravo star also told cops she wanted him removed from their room over fears he might get physical again as she shared her plans to divorce him once they returned to Los Angeles.
Although Marcellus, who was previously accused of sexual assault by numerous women, denied that he and Annemarie were involved in a physical dispute and showcased cordial text messages to prove his case, the police found probable cause to take him into custody.
As Annemarie moves forward with her plan to divorce Marcellus, another TMZ report on Monday confirmed that a Florida judge had entered a no-contact order against him, which requires him to stay at least 500 feet away from her and her home until the order is changed.
Marcellus is also banned from reaching out to Annemarie on social media or through a third party.
