Katie Maloney revealed an email from a source claiming that Tom Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson was “constantly fishing for headlines” during their relationship. The source also suggested that Victoria wanted “Love Island-type gigs” amid their breakup, like his ex Ariana Madix. Katie and her podcast cohost Dayna Kathan reacted, and recalled their past run-in with the couple.
Last month, Victoria was arrested for allegedly abusing the Vanderpump Rules star, who later filed a restraining order against her. Recently, Victoria filed her own restraining order against him and accused him of abuse. Around that time, a video surfaced of Tom and Victoria’s dad in a physical altercation by a fire pit.
On Disrespectfully Podcast, Katie first discussed the recent legal drama and accusations surrounding Tom and Victoria.
First, Katie called the altercation between Tom and Victoria’s dad “alarming” before addresses the ‘toxicity’ in Tom and Vixtoria’s relationship.
“It’s so toxic. I don’t think there’s a clear victim in this because I think they’re both so incredibly toxic and physically, yeah, abusive,” added Katie, via Vanderpodrecaps on Instagram, about the former couple.
Katie and her cohost Dayna then revealed an email they were sent by a source.
“I feel like we should discuss the email that we got,” said Dayna. “What we’re about to say is all alleged, but we got an interesting email. We’re gonna keep this anonymous because we want to protect the source, but we thought it was super interesting.”
Dayna then read directly from the email.
“‘Micro backstory. Tom Sandoval’s girlfriend, ‘possibly ex’ – it’s off and on so often it’s hard to know anymore – Victoria has for some reason mistaken me as a friend. She vents to me, confides in me, even rages at me,’” said the email. “‘[I] find the whole thing completely entertaining… so I play along as a character of sorts.’”
“‘She pretty much has been constantly fishing for headlines the entire time she knew Tom, including making requests to start rumors anonymously and maybe even doing it herself,’” the email continued. “‘Her latest meltdown to me is about Dayna, “a nobody in the Vanderpump Rules world … [who] got a headline for obviously being a lesbian.” … But [Victoria] couldn’t get [a headline] for breaking up with the most awful person on earth after selfishly trying to fix him.’”
According to the message, Victoria “signs herself on to Tom’s appearances.”
“‘I think her whole goal was to appear as some sort of saint who got broken up with Tom so she could get her own Love Island type gigs. She is weird and I just had to share with the person she freaked out about,’” the message concluded.
Katie then commented, “It’s so bizarre to me that you [Dayna] were on [Victoria’s] radar in such a way that she talks about this.”
At this point, Dayna addressed their past run-in with Victoria and Sandoval.
“A few years ago … we were at Limp Bizkit and we were on side stage and Tom and [Victoria] walked … back behind us,” she explained. “Tom waved at Katie, Katie made a stank face and we were just whatever, and we ended up discussing it really briefly [on the podcast]. Then like six months later on his podcast, they hadn’t done an episode, they brought it up and she [was referring me to as] ‘that girl, I didn’t even know her name, I don’t know her.’”
“And then also [Victoria’s] other friend – she needs better friends – [was] drunk as s**t at SoHo. I got in an elevator, and this girl looks at me and is like, ‘Do you have a podcast?’ And I was like, ‘yeah.’ And she was like, ‘oh, I know Victoria, she’s talking about you.’ And I was like, I am on her mind.”
