Kenny Martin accused Lindsay Hubbard of “manipulation” as he shared more info behind the room situation on In the City. Meanwhile, Lindsay hinted at her “text thread” to Kenny’s girlfriend Whitney Fransway, which she “use[d] against me.”
On the latest episode, Kenny offered Yvonne and Nick (who had recently tied the knot) the chance to pick which room they wanted first on the cast trip. But Lindsay declared that she and her friend Georgina were taking the primary because they’re mothers.
Lindsay later added that they deserved to have the biggest bed because they were the only non-couple who had to share one. In another scene, Lindsay was offended when she heard that Whitney accused her of playing the ‘victim’ and ‘single moms card.’
After a clip of the episode was released online, Lindsay claimed that Kenny and Whitney could have offered their own room to the newlyweds, given that Kenny had the biggest room in the house.
“Let’s be clear [because] I’m seeing some straight manipulation,” wrote Kenny on Threads, via @thebravoinvestigator on Instagram. “1. Whit and I had nearly last pick of room & it was [on the] other end of the house away from the group.”
“2. NOBODY made Lindsay and Georgina room together,” he went on. “[There were a] ton of rooms, some [with] multiple beds. 3. They had every opportunity do the kind thing and give it to Yvonne, but said they are moms and deserved it more. That is the definition of pulling mom card. Their decision, own it, don’t manipulate whit into a mom hater [because] she stated the facts.”
Kenny then shared his real issue behind the matter.
“If they would have just said hey we need this, then everyone would have been like no prob take it!” he said. “It was the, we’re taking it [go f**k yourself] vibes that [rubbed] everyone the wrong way. Nothing to do with moms…lol that was their word. Cleeeaaarly everyone loves moms.”
Around the same time, Lindsay wrote her own post on Threads.
“I’ve never talked to Whitney about being a ‘single mom’… if anything I’ve clarified to her about being a WORKING mom,” she said. “Not once have i said ‘single’ because my marital status doesn’t make a difference here.”
“Happy to post my text thread of ME checking in on Whitney in between all my jobs, though, that she decided to use against me in this moment,” she added. “Didn’t see her checking in on me once, but i took time out of MY busy schedule to check in on her. So… yeah happy to post.”
In the City airs Tuesday nights on Bravo.
