Kenny Martin shed new light on Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s relationship timeline while appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday.

While also reacting to Amanda’s emotional conversation with Kyle Cooke, 43, on the finale episode of In the City, addressing rumors linking Kyle to Salley Carson, 31, and defending Whitney Fransway‘s “single mom” comment to Lindsay Hubbard, 39, and Georgina Ferzli, 40, Kenny spoke of his future with Whitney, 35, his friendship drama with Gavin Moseley, and his dad, Larry Martin.

“Shocked to be honest, but there were some grumblings while we were filming [In the City, which began in fall 2025] about the connectivity between West and Amanda,” Kenny explained of his reaction to Amanda and West’s romance bombshell on the July 14 episode of WWHL. “So the whole timeline conversation, there were people talking about it much earlier than when the announcement came out [in March].”

Looking back at the finale, Kenny admitted to getting an “okay, this is over vibe” from Amanda and Kyle as he was asked if Kyle really tried to salvage their marriage.

“I think he didn’t know how to try fully. I think he was making mistakes, they weren’t meeting each other, though, it’s not only on Kyle,” he noted.

Moving on to Kyle’s relationship with Salley, Kenny confirmed he’d recently met the Southern Charm star.

“Him and Salley came by the house. She seems like a very sweet girl. We just met her … [They] just popped by. It was in a friendly capacity. They were not staying together. She was staying somewhere separate,” he clarified.

As for Whitney’s “single mom” comment to Lindsay, which was mentioned in a way that suggested she was using her child to get a better room, Kenny defended his partner as he seemingly shaded Lindsay for acting like a “victim” amid their cast getaway.

“There’s nobody in this world that doesn’t like a mother. I think her intentions were more about the opportunity to put a friend first. That didn’t happen. And all of a sudden, we’re doing this merry-go-round of all of a sudden, ‘Wait, shift the focus over here, I’m a victim,’ and then we kind of went down a different spiral,” he recalled.

Then, after saying that his proposal date to Whitney is “TBD,” Kenny explained his suggestion that they may have gotten married in Peru.

“There was like this pacha mama ceremony that we were like, ‘We’re in Peru. Let’s try something cultural, spiritual,’ and yada-yada-yada, he’s like, ‘You may now kiss your wife,’” he shared.

Speaking of the reunion, Kenny said that Lindsay and Georgina were the most activated, admitted that he and Whitney were in the hot seat the most, and named Kyle as the cast member who had his back the most.

“Gavin was there. He didn’t say a whole lot. I think Kyle was the only one that was like a voice of reason,” he explained.

As for whether Gavin was just jealous that he had a girlfriend, since it takes time away from him, Kenny admitted to feeling that Gavin was experiencing some jealousy.

“I think deep down inside maybe there was a little bit of those feelings where there were life changes going on, but also, cameras came up, Gavin was making good TV, stirring the pot, doing what he does,” he reasoned.

Also on the live broadcast, after confirming that he and Gavin were “in a good place” after talking about the issue “a number of times,” Kenny shared his rose and thorn of season one.

“[My rose is] my father and reconnecting with him, which was crazy, [and my thorn is] just how nasty some of the girls were, especially at the reunion.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, a fan asked Kenny if his dad had tried searching for him on social media.

“He did,” Kenny confirmed. “[But] my name wasn’t Kenny, or Kenneth Martin on social media, and I don’t live in the town that he thought I grew up in. So he’s checking Kalamazoo. I lived outside of Kalamazoo. My name was different on social media, but the feedback was that yes, we were kind of both searching, probably passively.”

“Martin’s such a common last name too, so it’s like [finding a] needle in a haystack,” added Whitney.

In the City‘s season one reunion begins next Tuesday, July 21, at 8/7c on Bravo.
