West Wilson and Amanda Batula reportedly caused a scene at both a wedding and a birthday party in recent weeks.
Although the former Summer House stars have been looking as happy as ever in recent posts to their Instagram pages, multiple sources have come forward with alleged information about the potential tension between them that fans aren’t seeing on Instagram.
“West Wilson and Amanda Batula allegedly caused a bit of a stir at a wedding on the Oregon Coast over the weekend and not necessarily in the way the bride had hoped,” read the August 31 issue of the Deuxmoi Cheat Sheet.
According to the report, West was invited to the wedding through the groom, whom he went to college with, and apparently brought Amanda despite not having a plus-one, which didn’t go over particularly well with the bride.
In addition to the wedding drama, the newsletter went on to claim that another insider said West and Amanda “fight all the time” after attending a friend’s birthday with the couple days prior. As that source alleged, Amanda wanted to leave the party, and West did not, which turned into an argument between them.
“During another night out at a bar in Newport, Amanda loudly told West to ‘go f*ck himself,'” the newsletter continued.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, all seems to be well between West and Amanda, the former of whom shared a series of photos of himself and Amanda from their trip on Tuesday.
As Summer House fans have likely heard, West and Amanda will not be featured on the series’ upcoming 11th season, which began filming in the Hamptons in July, due to the March reveal of their shocking romance, which began behind the backs of her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, 44, and his former fling, Ciara Miller, 30.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” West and Amanda announced in a joint statement on March 31.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they added.
