When Farrah Aldjufrie announced her pregnancy last month, it reportedly came as a “shock” to her family, including her mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, her stepdad, Mauricio Umansky, and her three sisters, Alexia Umansky, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky.
Following the reveal of Farrah’s baby daddy, Zach Goldsmith, her fellow realtor and former co-star on Buying Beverly Hills, an insider is speaking out. They’re sharing how the family, including Farrah’s father, Guraish Aldjufrie, reacted to the news and revealing new details about Farrah, 37, and Zach’s romance.
“Farrah is over the moon and so excited about becoming a mom,” a source told Us Weekly recently. “She has wanted this for so long, and she is living her dream. It was a shock to the family in the best way and they are ecstatic about a baby boy coming soon.”
According to the source, Zach and Mauricio, 56, have “done business together for years and are good friends,” and Zach has known Farrah for years.
As for when Farrah and Zach’s romance began, the insider said they “became closer” amid filming on Buying Beverly Hills and began dating shortly after Zach separated from his wife, Jennifer Hamilton-Goldsmith, in 2024.
As fans may have seen, Jennifer reacted to Farrah’s pregnancy on Instagram weeks ago, writing, “Happy for you @farrahbritt :).”
“Thank you so much Jen means a lot,” Farrah replied.
While Farrah and Zach have “been dating for over a year and a half now,” Farrah is reportedly not involved with Zach’s family at this point.
“His ex-wife Jen supports the relationship, and they are all cordial,” the insider continued. “Farrah isn’t necessarily helping co-parent or involved in his other two sons’ lives, but they are navigating how to incorporate the new baby into the mix.”
Farrah first confirmed the identity of her child’s father in a gender reveal video shared to her social media pages, in which the family was seen learning that she was expecting a boy.
