Teen Mom 2 alum Kailyn Lowry has been doing her Coffee Convos podcast with Lindsie Chrisley since 2017.
While the podcast has been a huge success, Kailyn recently made a huge reveal regarding it.
Specifically, she shared in a new interview on The Sarah Fraser Show podcast that she had quit the podcast during a tough time with Lindsie, which she described as a “toxic cycle.”
“Oh, I had quit. I had quit the show. I had quit Coffee Convos podcast,” Kail stated. “I agreed I would do five weeks on my own. I ended up doing six weeks, and I had told her in the midst of all that, that I was done.”
“We weren’t communicating,” she explained. “We weren’t getting together. We weren’t doing our part to continue making the podcast successful. I think that people underestimate how much work goes into a podcast.”
Kail noted that their communication was having issues, along with her being a mother of seven and having a ton of responsibilities. All of this became overwhelming for her.
“It was just so half-a**ed, and then also our lack of communication,” she acknowledged. “I was just like, ‘I’m done.’ I have seven kids. I have a lot of stuff going on. I can’t handle this anymore.”
Lindsie and Kail ultimately decided to work through their problems, but Kail admitted they’re “like a pair of dysfunctional sisters.”
“This is so hard because I love Lindsie so much, but then this piece is not working, making sort of like a toxic cycle that just kept going and going,” she added.
During the podcast, Kail also shared plans for a new show she’s working on called Crashing Out with Kail.
“Right now, I’m working on a show called Crashing Out with Kail, and that is kind of following me on my entrepreneurial…” she explained. “Is that the word, entrepreneurial? Whatever. You get where I’m going with this.”
The show will focus on what goes on behind the scenes as she goes on tour and works with various people on her podcast network.
“It’s kind of following the back end of my podcast tour, what it’s like working with everyone on the podcast network,” she elaborated. “And so that’s going to be really fun. I think the teaser drops next week.”
One other hot topic Kail addressed on the show was whether she had gotten a cease-and-desist letter from Britt, a woman who publicly claimed to have had an affair with Elijah Scott, Kail’s former fiancé and the father of her twin sons.
“No, and if she sends one, I’ll post it all over the internet because unless it comes from the judge, the cease-and-desist doesn’t mean shit,” Kail claimed. “So send it, and I’ll post it.”
She noted a cease-and-desist is a waste of money.
“Please don’t spend $1,500 to $2,000 to have an attorney write up a cease-and-desist, and please, for the love of all things holy, do not go on ChatGPT and send me a cease-and-desist,” she added. “It is not worth your time, and I will laugh, and I will post it all over the internet. So honestly, save your money.”
