Tamera “Ty” Young opened up about what really went down between her and Drew Sidora while appearing on Kayla Nicole‘s podcast in August.
Years after the 41-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s now-ex-husband, Ralph Pittman Jr., 43, suggested the two of them had an affair, and after Mimi Faust, 54, the former fiancée of the WNBA player, suggested the same, Ty, 38, denied wanting a relationship with Drew and accused Drew of having a “crush.”
“I didn’t want to pursue that,” Ty clarified on The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole. “I felt some type of way when she wanted to make it seem like I was just on her and like … Like, what? You had a crush on me.”
According to Ty, it was Drew who had a crush on her before they even met.
“She had a crush on me before I even knew who she was. I didn’t [know who she was]. I never watched The Game,” Ty explained.

At another moment amid the episode, Ty denied that she was a “tree branch” for Drew as she navigated her messy split from Ralph amid RHOA season 15.
“Poor ma, she said that I was like a tree branch, like giving her [that] type of attention. Drew had a crush on me. So that was never the case — me just being this tree branch,” Ty corrected. “It’s like, don’t play with me. And I texted her when I [saw] that. I said, ‘Tread lightly.’ Cuz I don’t speak on it.”
As for the accusation of having potentially cheated on Mimi with Drew, which Mimi previously alluded to, Ty revealed that she hadn’t met Drew at that time.
“Mimi made it seem like I cheated on her with Drew. I didn’t even know Drew when I was with Mimi,” she said.

As RHOA fans may recall, Sheree Whitfield, 56, and Marlo Hampton, 50, both mentioned Drew’s alleged romance with Ty on the show, with Sheree claiming Drew “was cheating with a well-known basketball player,” and Marlo saying Drew was full-on “dating a woman.”
