Sai De Silva discussed her split from David Craig on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also revealed whether she was dating, shaded Erin Lichy‘s lack of accountability amid her ongoing feud with Jessel Taank, 46, and reacted to Daisy Toye suggesting she had the biggest ego of the Real Housewives of New York City cast, Sai, 45, looked back on the moment she knew that her marriage was over, offered a co-parenting update, and shared whether she thought she and David would reconcile.
“That was tough,” Sai said of the moment in which she realized that David had used her credit card to pay for her birthday dinner on the September 29 episode of WWHL. “When it happened, and I finally saw the statement, I was so sad. And I think that was like, the nail in the coffin for me.”
Another nail in the coffin came when David filed for divorce publicly without giving her a heads-up. However, according to Sai, who revealed that she and David are still “going through [their] divorce,” she did think they would get back together when they first split.
Although Sai and David have remained in touch since they “have kids together and [are] going through a divorce,” she noted that their co-parenting relationship was “not great.”
She then confirmed that she was not yet dating, explaining, “I think it’s too soon.”
Moving on to Jessel and Erin, 39, the latter of whom she trusts the least out of the two of them, Sai reacted to Jessel’s suggestion that Erin’s home flood was an insurance ploy.
“I think she was just trying to be funny. I mean, that’s what she does. I think maybe she needs to laugh after she says a few jokes. Listen, I’ve gotten to know Jessel very well, and she has a good heart, and it took a long time for us to get here. So Jessel can do no wrong in my eyes,” Sai reasoned.
Regarding the biggest issue between Jessel and Erin, Sai signaled Erin’s lack of accountability.
“Erin has a really hard time with taking accountability and just saying sorry. I think when she gets caught, it’s kind of a runaround of it goes from ‘I didn’t say that’ to ‘I [said] that’ to ‘who told you that?’ instead of just, ‘My bad. I’m sorry’ and just move on,” she shared.
Sai also spoke of her friendship with Daisy, describing their dynamic as “turbulent” but sisterly.
“She does things that really trigger me and get under my skin like a sister, and sometimes I’m like, sometimes she just needs a good old-fashioned spanking,” Sai stated.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Sai reacted to Daisy suggesting she had the biggest ego on the show.
“I think she’s one to talk. So, I mean, we’ve been friends for 20 years, so she knows me very well. She knows I have a great heart, and I think if my ego affected her so much, why would she continue to be my friend?” she wondered.
Sai then admitted that Daisy had likely become a high-maintenance traveler due to the trips she’d taken with Martha Stewart, 85.
“100 percent. I think it’s definitely made her feel that she is Martha,” Sai explained.
