Monique Samuels vindicated Stacey Rusch in a social media post shared on Monday.
Following the airing of the conclusion of the three-part Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 reunion, during which Monique, 42, played an audio clip she hoped would prove that Stacey had leaked information about her filming with her kids to her ex-husband, Chris Samuels, 48, which Stacey denied, Monique expressed a change of heart.
“A lot of time has passed since the reunion was filmed and after gaining more info since then, I don’t believe Stacey had anything to do with any of that bullsh*t,” she admitted in a March 2 post on Threads. “I’ll probably go live on IG at some point this week and give yall the ENTIRE story. I haven’t watched the reunion episodes yet so let me catch up and get back to you but I at least wanted to clear her name on ALL of it…”
As RHOP fans may have seen, Ashley Darby, 37, attended The Reality Rundown’s “TRR LIVE: DC” reunion watch party over the weekend, where she shed light on the contents of the audio clip to underwhelmed fans.
“What we heard on that recording was essentially that there had been confirmation from one of Monique’s children that he or she, she has a daughter and two sons, someone had heard their father speaking to someone and asked, ‘Who is Stacey?’” she shared. “Somehow, they had heard this name and asked Monique about it. And unfortunately, there’s a lot of legality right now with what Monique is going through, so she can’t share it, which really sucks. But when we all heard it, when I tell you, jaws were on the floor, baby!”
Despite Ashley’s apparent shock, users on social media who watched her appearance didn’t feel that her reveal proved anything.
“This is still lame,” one person said.
“‘Who is [Stacey]?’ reveals nothing,” someone else agreed. “Chris could have literally been talking ABOUT Stacey, not to Stacey.”
No word yet on when the Real Housewives of Potomac cast is expected to go into production on its upcoming 11th season.
