Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, will head to trial in January 2027.

Months after the Real Housewives of Potomac stars were arrested and charged with insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and making false statements to a police officer, Wendy, 42, and Eddie, also 42, appeared in Carroll County Circuit Court with their attorneys on Wednesday, where they learned of their insurance fraud trial’s start date.

According to a May 20 report from The Baltimore Banner, Wendy and Eddie were in court for a status conference and learned that their joint trial would run from January 25 to January 29, 2027.

As RHOP fans will recall, Wendy and Eddie were accused of staging a burglary at their home in Finksburg, Maryland, in April 2024, claiming thieves stole $450,000 worth of designer goods and jewelry while they were vacationing in Jamaica with their kids and later submitting claims to three different insurance companies.

In the months that followed Wendy and Eddie’s robbery claims, deputies concluded that many of the items the couple said were stolen had been returned to stores for refunds before the supposed burglary. Prosecutors also signaled an alleged financial crisis Wendy and Eddie had been faced with, with Melissa Hockensmith telling a judge that they had “very little money” in December as 67 credit and debit cards were discovered in wallets, including a Chanel wallet they’d reported stolen.

“It was scary,” Wendy admitted on RHOP of her night behind bars. “You completely lose your autonomy.”

Meanwhile, after her attorney, Jeremy Eldridge, insisted there was “no evidence that the Osefos are in financial distress,” Judge Richard R. Titus ruled in favor of the state, which allowed prosecutors to pursue eight years of the couple’s financial records.

The Baltimore Banner also confirmed that Bravo filmed Wendy and Eddie’s arrival and departure from the minutes-long hearing on Wednesday, sharing that Wendy wore a yellow pantsuit and Christian Louboutin heels, while Eddie paired a suit with a Burberry tie.

No word yet on when The Real Housewives of Potomac season 11 will begin airing on Bravo.
