Allie Eklund is firing back after seeing that her former boyfriend, Steven McBee Jr., claimed to have proof of her alleged cheating.
While also opening up about a secret split they endured amid The McBee Dynasty season three, accusing Steven, 33, of poor treatment, and sharing whether she had “closure” about their breakup, Allie, 29, reacted to Steven’s suggestion on Instagram.
After Reality Blurb shared a story regarding claims Steven made on the June 11 episode of Fan or Fanatic, Allie left a comment.
“Then show it and I’ll be happy to show the texts I have months back of him talking to multiple girls while we were dating,” she wrote.
Around the same time, during an interview last week, Allie opened up about her past relationship with Steven, whom she split from in April.
“Looking back on it, we obviously — our first couple of dates, on paper and from conversation, we were the perfect match, so it felt,” Allie told Us Weekly on July 10. “And then when I, you know, immersed myself in being with him in person and the reality of things, I just, I quickly realized after a couple months that … what he was saying and his actions were not lining up,” she continued. “So there were a couple things that started happening that I was aware of that, yeah, started to make me question and raise those concerns and flags that I dealt with privately. And you know, I leaned on my inner circle for support.”
“I was definitely starting to question some behavior, some things that were said. You know, how I was treated behind the scenes. Like, there were definitely some things that I was questioning. With that being said, there were also qualities that I really loved and admired about him. But I started to definitely see things that were outweighing those good qualities, for sure,” she continued.
After being accused of cheating on Steven at Stagecoach, Allie said that when it came to their split, nothing else “needs to be said.”
“His actions showed me exactly how he feels about me and what he said to me, you know, that was enough closure,” she explained. “There’s nothing else that needs to be said. How you treated me and what you said to me, that was just the cherry on top. And there had been instances before this that he had been trying to work through again behind closed doors that his family was aware of.”
Then, reflecting on a secret split amid season three, Allie said that although she had good reason to call it quits, she decided to give their romance a second chance.
“I actually broke up with him in the middle of filming privately. You know, I did it graciously. When I was asked to speak on it, I chose not to to protect him and we ended up getting back together with the support and encouragement of his family to try to work through some of those things, and the pattern continued,” she revealed.
“So, when I realized that it was a pattern and it wasn’t circumstantial, this was really just the icing on the cake for me. And it was it. There’s no conversation to be had, no closure left. Like, that’s closure enough for me. And when he asked me to have a conversation, a closure conversation, I denied it because there’s when your actions and your words don’t line up. There’s nothing that I can do with that. So, you know, I wish him the best from afar,” she added.
