Whitney Rose reflected on her drama with Ashley Quai on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

After sharing an embarrassing story about Ashley, 44, using her fiancé’s toothbrush to clean a toilet with Angie Katsanevas, 52, who eventually mentioned the incident on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney admitted to getting off to an “awful start” with the newbie, explained why Meredith should accept her apology, and offered an update on her split from Justin Rose, 58, as she also spoke of dating, alcohol, and Britani Bateman‘s rekindled romance with Jared Osmond, 55.

“I’m devastated by how it started. It was an awful start,” Whitney admitted on the October 21 episode of WWHL. “My intention of telling the toothbrush story, that was not the intention. It was to tell Angie, Quai is not a [Monica Garcia] … when I pinky swore Quai, I should’ve said, ‘Hey, by the way, Angie knows.’ But it never crossed my mind that Angie would make it a moment.”

“I feel bad for ever telling the story,” she continued. “I was dumbfounded that Angie repeated the story because I told Angie weeks prior when she was nervous about Quai joining the group, so first of all I should’ve never told the story, and I should’ve told Quai right away that Angie knew, but it didn’t cross my mind.”

As for why Meredith should accept her apology when there’s no changed behavior, as a fan alleged, Whitney first asked, “What behavior hasn’t changed,” before noting that if Meredith “can forgive Lisa for calling her a garbage whore that f*cked half of New York,” she should forgive her.

Moving on to her split from Justin, Whitney said she and their two kids, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13, are well.

“[Justin and I are] still friends. We’re amicable. We’re super focused on being the best coparents we can be,” she shared. “We share two places, we have the kids in our primary home, and Justin and I share an apartment, and he and I go back and forth. So nothing about the kids’ life has been disrupted.”

According to Whitney, it wasn’t just one thing that led to her divorce filing.

“It was a combination of many things over many years. I think it’s safe to say that this has been slowly building for a while, and I finally just realized that it’s time to change,” she explained.

Then, after confirming that neither of them are dating, Whitney discussed her relationship with alcohol.

“I have a much better relationship with alcohol. Taking a break has taught me that I can take it or leave it, and I definitely don’t take it when I’m emotional or going through something,” she stated.

Whitney also spoke of her castmates’ relationships, starting with Bronwyn Newport, 41, and Brandon Good, 33, who split earlier this year.

“I think it’s good that they ended it. I think it was a little fast. I like Brandon. I liked that she was happy, but she was moving quickly,” Whitney said.

As for Heather Gay, 52, and her boyfriend, Tripp, Whitney confirmed she’d met him before their recent rekindling.

“I didn’t know him personally, but I’d met him … Tripp is an amazing man; he’s a changed man; he loves Heather and absolutely adores her and treats her like a princess,” she gushed.

She then revealed that Britani, 55, is very much back together with Jared.

“I sat next to Jared Osmond’s best friend on an airplane, and he told me everything … they’re absolutely talking and together, and I saw Jared at the gym before I came here, and he said he was just with you.”

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Whitney was asked if she regretted talking about her castmates’ marriages now that she was divorcing.

“I don’t regret anything that I’ve said, [but] I wouldn’t do it again,” she replied. “Like, I absolutely would not criticize anyone else’s marriage ever again, especially after what was said about me after the news broke. But I’ve apologized for what I said. But moving forward, marriages are off limits.”

After noting that Meredith had taken to Threads and insinuated that her divorce was “karma,” Whitney said her co-star has since changed her tune.

“She’s giving me words of support now,” she revealed.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
