Lala Kent got a tattoo this week to honor her late father, Kent Burningham.

After attending her dad’s funeral in Utah on May 2, the Vanderpump Rules star shared a series of photos on Instagram, one of which included an image of her new ink, which featured the word “DAD” in a heart.

“Back to L.A., with my sweet, beautiful mama, wearing my dad’s watch, and an epic tattoo,” Lala wrote in the caption of the photo below on May 3. “Repping my pops till the end of time (by @chichtattoos) Dad, I promise i’m going to make you proud. I’m going to be kind and tender hearted, just like you.”

After Lala lost her father at the end of last month, her boyfriend, Randall Emmett rushed to her side, as did a number of her Vanderpump Rules co-stars, including Brittany Cartwright, Scheana Marie, Ariana Madix, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney.

During their visit to Salt Lake City, a number of the women visited a local bar and posed for a group photo.

While Scheana wasn’t seen in the photo shared by Kristen, she was confirmed to be in town in an Instagram story shared by Brittany earlier this week.

Although Lala is surely going through an extremely difficult time after losing her father, she believes he is still with her and credited him for the recent success of her single, “Boy.” As Vanderpump Rules fans may recall, Lala first released the song early last year with the help of Basketball Wives L.A.‘s DJ Duffey.

Lala’s beau Randall also shared the video below on May 4, showing Lala at his home which is currently being renovated by Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis.

Following Kent’s death, a source told Reality Blurb that Lala has never been “more devastated.”

“As of right now, Lala is in Utah with her family and staying out of the limelight,” the insider said. “She just appreciates everyone’s kind words and prayers.”

The Vanderpump Rules season six reunion special begins airing next Monday at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
