Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador‘s three daughters, 17-year-old Sophie and 14-year-old twins Stella and Adeline, are reportedly refusing to accept the new girlfriend of their father, David Beador.
According to a recent report, David is ready to propose to his girlfriend of eight months, Lesley Cook, but despite the seriousness of their relationship, the girls aren’t ready to support their romance.
“The girls just don’t like her,” a source close to Shannon explained to Radar Online. “They want nothing to do with her.”
Even after David, who is said to be concerned about his children’s tension with Lesley, begged for them to accept her, he got nowhere.
As David’s drama with his kids continues, so does his messy divorce. However, according to a second report, his divorce from his RHOC star wife is close to being finalized and Shannon is reportedly “so ready” and “cannot wait to be rid of [David].”
“She filed for divorce on December 1 of last year and he has caused it to drag out,” a source close to Shannon told Radar Online.
Earlier this year, Shannon and David met one another in court and after Shannon was given joint legal and physical custody of their kids, as well as $22,500 per month in child and spousal support, he reportedly had a complete meltdown.
According to David, the amount he is required to give his estranged wife could “bankrupt” his company. Plus, he claimed, Shannon is allegedly making more than he is due to her new deal with QVC.
During their next court showdown, a judge is expected to be presented with details of Shannon and David’s finances by an accountant hired to analyze both parties’ incomes.
“Shannon doesn’t care what David does or who he is with,” the insider explained. “To her, he is the father of her beautiful daughters and that is it.”
“She doesn’t interact with him now and never will other than to discuss their girls,” the source added.
