Ashley Jacobs is fighting back against Thomas Ravenel‘s allegations of cheating.
After the Southern Charm star and former politician took to Twitter over the weekend to suggest Ashley had been unfaithful to him in a number of posts to fans, Ashley is insisting she never cheated on Thomas. Instead, she claims that while she has been spending time with other men recently, she only began dating after she and Thomas ended their exclusive romance.
“Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn. I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back,” Thomas wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
“After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love,” he added in a second post.
Although Thomas’ tweets were quite telling, especially on the heels of his split from Ashley, Ashley believes her ex-boyfriend was simply attempting to get revenge on her after she blocked him from following her on social media.
“I blocked him so he was trying to get a reaction to me that way,” Ashley told Page Six on August 27. “He’s hurting and he knew that would be the only way to get to me. I just laughed at it. I just laughed at it like, ‘Oh, God. So dramatic!’”
Ashley and Thomas’ relationship began after they met at a bar in Santa Barbara, California in May 2017 and ended earlier this month.
As fans may have seen, Ashley was first to announce her split publicly and did so with a teary-eyed video on Instagram. Then, just one day later, she was spotted on a date with Ryan Trout, who she was also seen with this weekend.
Following the date at a Charleston lounge about a week ago, Ashley and Ryan spent time together on his boat on Saturday night and during their outing, he shared a short video with his followers on Instagram, as did Ashley.
The two appear to have spent the entire weekend together as Ryan also shared a video of Ashley on Sunday evening. A screenshot is below.
Thomas and Ashley will not be featured on any further seasons of Southern Charm.
