Bethenny Frankel hasn’t quite gotten used to life without her late boyfriend, Dennis Shields.
Although it’s been nearly two months since Dennis lost his life to an alleged drug overdose, the Real Housewives of New York City star accidentally sent a text message to his phone over the weekend.
On Twitter, Bethenny spoke of the mistake, telling her fans and followers she meant for the message to go to her best friend’s phone.
“I just accidentally sent dennis a text,” she tweeted on Saturday, October 6. “It was about him to my bff. That was odd.”

After sharing the post, Bethenny went on to suggest to her online audience that she may have actually received a text message from her late boyfriend — which included a profanity.
“Something else very weird happened,” she continued in a second tweet. “I was texting [with] one of his friends and it said ‘handwritten text’ and read ‘hurry the f**k up’ but neither of us wrote that nor do we even know how to hand write on a text. How bizarre?”
Although her fans and followers questioned her about whether the message was something Dennis would have said, she didn’t respond to their inquiries or reveal any further details about the mysterious message.
A couple of weeks after Dennis’ death, Bethenny addressed her fans on Twitter and opened up about the pain she was feeling as a result of the loss.
“It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so,” she wrote. “It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant ?s & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw. Trying to stay healthy & move through it w tears & close friends. Xo.”
