Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers reportedly begged Lisa Vanderpump to attend Camille Grammer‘s upcoming wedding in Hawaii but according to a new report, she’s refusing to do so.
After much thought, Lisa allegedly opted out of yet another cast event, which has left the RHOBH producers unhappy with her.
“Production is annoyed she isn’t coming,” a source close to Lisa revealed to Hollywood Life on October 17. “Lisa is both stressed and relieved as she finally made the decision yesterday (Tuesday) not to attend Camille’s wedding.”
According to the report, Lisa has been at odds with her co-stars for weeks and because of that, she’s been refusing to film with anyone, aside from her newest co-star Denise Richards.
“Lisa refuses to handle the stress of the event and doesn’t see the point in putting herself in an uncomfortable situation. She hasn’t filmed with or even seen the other ladies (except Denise Richards, who she’s filmed a couple scenes with) in over a month and doesn’t want to start now at an big event like this,” the insider explained.
While Lisa and Camille have been close in recent years, the source said Camille “could not care less” that her longtime co-star is refusing to attend her nuptials.
“The other ladies are over Lisa skipping out, too, but are getting used to her not inviting them or attending things anymore. Camille feels it’s probably for the best, she doesn’t want any more drama and just to get married,” the source said.
“Kyle [Richards], Teddi [Mellencamp Arroyave] and Lisa Rinna will be at the big day,” the insider continued. “The wedding will take place over the weekend on the big island in Hawaii and it will most definitely be filmed. Erika [Girardi] can’t make it because she’s working and Denise chose not to attend, but not because she has an issue with Camille. It was just too much for her with her kids and new husband to go.”
As for whether or not Lisa’s role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be reduced to that of a “friend,” Lisa Rinna recently confirmed her co-star was not refusing to film due to a potential demotion.
On Twitter, after a fan suspected Lisa V. decided not to participate in a group shoot with the women because she had been demoted to a “friend” role by Bravo TV, Lisa R. said in a now-deleted post that the theory was “bulls**t.”
As for Camille, 50, she is gearing up for her weekend wedding by showing off her bikini body on her Instagram page. Her post is below.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine is expected to premiere on Bravo TV later this year.
