The cast of Vanderpump Rules is speaking out on the upcoming drama and fights of their new season in an all new interview. Also, Katie Maloney addresses ongoing pregnancy rumors while Lala Kent dishes on her wedding plans to fiance Randall Emmett.
During an appearance on the red carpet at E!’s People’s Choice Awards on Sunday night, November 11, the Pump Rules cast members revealed what viewers can expect when season 7 returns to Bravo on December 3.
“I think this season is very special in that so many different people are having issues with each other. It’s not just one certain thread that is just like leading the whole thing,” explained Stassi Schroeder to E! News.
“Everyone’s beefing with each other this season which you don’t usually see,” added Lala.
“I feel like our fights are about things that are deep rooted,” said Kristen Doute. “It’s like we love our friends so much that you get angry because they’re not making the decisions that you think [they] should make so they’re not as catty.”
“I feel like this season is like very much, we’re all growing up. It’s very heart-wrenching. The issues and the problems we have with each other are like more adult-like and things that are life changing, so I’m super excited for season 7 to come out,” added Lala. “There’s still alcohol involved so it’s definitely a hot mess.”
On the topic of having babies, Katie shut down any pregnancy rumors!
“I mean, I’m not with child now,” said Katie, later jokingly adding, “me and Brittany might have a pregnancy pact.”
Lala was also asked about her wedding to Randall, and she revealed they aren’t yet planning it quite yet.
“We have no plans right now. I’m just enjoying the word ‘fiancé,’” Lala shared.
Although Lala and Randall haven’t begun planning quite yet, the reality star said her film producer beau has a clear vision of what he wants their big day to look like.
“My man is like the chick in the relationship. He wants a big fairytale wedding so I guess that’s what we are doing,” she laughed.
As for her thoughts, Lala said, “I’m indifferent to the wedding part. It could be small or big, I just want to marry him.”
Lala and Randall became engaged during a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in September and are planning to get married “within the next couple of years.”
“[A] long time,” Lala added of her wedding timeline. “We are in no rush.”
After her engagement in September, Lala confirmed her exciting news to her fans and followers on Instagram and included a couple of photos of herself and Randall.
“Last night was the best night of my entire life. I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé!” she announced. “An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my dad could possibly send me to let me know he’s here. I’m the happiest girl in the world.”
Vanderpump Rules season seven premieres on Monday, December 3 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
