RHOBH Cast does not attend Lisa Vanderpump Dog Charity Gala

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast did not attend the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala earlier this month.

Amid Lisa Vanderpump‘s ongoing feud with her co-stars, the ladies of the show reportedly opted out of the event as the entire Vanderpump Rules cast, and several other celebrities, showed their support for her fundraiser.

“It’s bulls**t to say the women weren’t invited. They iced out the gala and chose not to attend,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly.

Although Lisa didn’t officially invite the RHOBH cast, sources insist they knew they were more than welcome as no formal invitations were sent out to “anyone except performers” for the charity event.

While Lisa’s co-stars, including Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna, and Teddi Mellencamp, were in France weeks ago, they were all in town on the weekend the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala was held and allegedly decided not to attend the event.

“The Vanderpump Rules cast speak up about the dogs [and] donate their time to the foundation. What have the Housewives done? Kyle and Dorit have been before and didn’t go this year, even though they were back from their trip,” the source said. “Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna have never been … They could have come and supported Lisa, even the foundation.”

Meanwhile, a second source claimed Lisa reached out only to new cast member Denise Richards about attending her event, which hurt her former bestie Kyle.

“[Kyle] loves going and supporting every year,” the insider explained.

Just weeks ago, Kyle spoke to Us Weekly about her tension with Lisa, saying that while they are on the outs at the moment, she still “loves” Lisa and considers her to be “a good friend.”

“Lisa still films with Denise and Camille” and the other women “only invite her when they are filming. They haven’t tried to resolve or mend anything off-camera with Lisa,” a third source added.

And while the cast skipped out on Lisa’s event, they did attend Doris’s event this week to launch her Beverly Beach by Dorit swimwear line at Kitson.

After the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala, Lisa opened up about the “disappointing” absence of her co-stars.

“Well, it’s basically a charity… you expect people to buy tables and support it,” she explained during a Tuesday appearance on The Talk. “I wasn’t in a great place with [the RHOBH cast]. So the fact that they didn’t come, yes, was disappointing but it hasn’t been great the past couple of months.”

Despite the notable absences of the RHOBH cast members, Lisa and Ken were however glad to see their Vanderpump Rules co-stars in attendance.

“All of the [Vanderpump Rules] cast was there and they did a lot of the heavy lifting when it came to auction prizes and spending their money on auction items,” the insider revealed. “They went on their own choosing and out of the goodness of their hearts. They didn’t even film either of the shows at the gala.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine is expected to premiere sometime early next year.
