NeNe Leakes‘ husband, Gregg Leakes, cheated on her during their marriage.
Amid her ongoing feud with former friend Porsha Williams, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star opened up about the past infidelities she’s experienced during a game of Truth or Dare that was cut from the 11th season of the show.
“[Has] there ever been any infidelity in your relationship?” new cast member Shamari DeVoe asked NeNe in the unseen footage shared by Bravo.
“Yes,” NeNe replied. “[It was] Gregg. There was many days when I just thought I was gonna divorce Gregg.”
In the moments that followed NeNe’s revelation, she explained to Shamari how she and Gregg were able to work through his infidelity.
“I think my breaking point came when Gregg and I couldn’t communicate. Gregg has never been a good communicator. And the way that he communicates now is because he’s learned a lot,” she revealed.
During a previous appearance on TV One’s Uncensored, NeNe opened up about the reason behind her past divorce filing.
“I think a lot of people were surprised when I filed for divorce. I filed for divorce because I always felt like you have to teach people how to treat you and I felt like at that time that Gregg wasn’t treating me the way I felt I should be treated,” NeNe said. “It was me teaching Gregg a lesson, and I think he got it.”
As for NeNe’s feud with Porsha, a source told Us Weekly that while NeNe is “making amends” with the former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Phaedra Parks, she’s leaving Porsha “out in the cold.”
As fans may have seen, NeNe and Porsha first began feuding after Porsha seemingly told her co-stars that NeNe was the one who revealed what Kandi Burruss had said about her fiancé, Dennis McKinley, during an episode of the show that aired earlier this month.
In a now-deleted Instagram post after the episode aired, NeNe accused Porsha of ‘throwing her under the bus.’
In response, Porsha fired back at NeNe for ‘blasting’ her and called her “fake.”
“Porsha was flabbergasted by Nene’s post,” a source shared.
According to the report, NeNe may be getting close to Phaedra in an effort to get under Porsha’s skin.
“NeNe and Porsha’s relationship was really good before that. Porsha is pregnant, doing her business, not angry at NeNe,” the source revealed to the magazine. “NeNe didn’t invite Porsha to any of her birthday celebration. Now she’s posting pics with Phaedra, but leaving Porsha out in the cold? It’s really weird that she’s making amends with Phaedra, gunning for her to be back on the show now, after talking about what a bad, negative effect she had on the show.”
“There’s no reason that Nene and Porsha can’t be friends. It’s on Nene’s end. There’s nothing Porsha can do to maintain a friendship with Nene if it’s going to be like this,” the insider added.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 11 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo TV.
