Former Southern Charm cast member Thomas Ravenel has allegedly been keeping very close tabs on his former girlfriend, Kathryn Dennis, as their custody battle over daughter Kensington, 4, and son Saint Julien, 3, heats up. Also, a new report is revealing Kathryn did NOT commit a hit and run accident as previously reported.
According to the report, Thomas has been going to extreme measures to prove Kathryn is an unfit parent and has allegedly been tracking her in several ways as he attempts to gain full custody of their kids.
On January 10, Fit News‘ Amy Feinstein reported that Thomas recently shared a video taken by private investigator David C. Leaird of Surveillance Technologies Investigative Services, who is a cousin of Kathryn’s, with another website who broke the news.
In the report regarding David’s video, it was claimed that Kathryn had committed a “hit and run.” However, according to Fit News, the video was taken at Kathryn’s home and the car that was hit belongs to her neighbor, who she immediately contacted after the incident took place. The outlet also confirmed that the majority of the damage was to Kathryn’s vehicle.
Although the video was apparently meant to hurt and embarrass Kathryn, it now seems that the leak was nothing more than an example of the harassment and stalking that Kathryn has been faced with due to her custody battle with Thomas.
In fact, a source close to Kathryn reveals she has had to have trackers removed from her car and has reportedly been followed to and from work.
Following the leaking of the alleged “hit and run” video, Kathryn is in talks with her lawyers about potentially using the video as proof that Thomas, or people hired by Thomas, have allegedly been following her and recording her without her consent.
Thomas’ custody battle with Kathryn is just one of the former politician’s current legal dilemmas.
As fans of Southern Charm may know, Thomas has been accused of sexual assault by numerous women over the past several months and in September of last year, he was arrested on charges connected to an alleged sexual assault on his children’s former nanny, Dawn Ledwell.
Thomas has also been targeted with a civil suit against Dawn and a harassment case from his former girlfriend Luzanne Otte.
In Thomas’ latest custody filing against Kathryn, he’s requested full custody of Kensington and Saint Julien and accused Kathryn of drinking and drug use. Meanwhile, in Kathryn’s documents, she mentioned the many claims of sexual assault against Thomas.
Southern Charm will return to Bravo later this year for season six.
