Southern Charm Kathryn Dennis Mentions Thomas Ravenel Sexual Assault Claims in Court

Kathryn Dennis is using the sexual assault allegations aimed at her former boyfriend, Thomas Ravenel, against him in court as she attempts to gain full custody of their two children, four-year-old Kensington, and three-year-old Saint Julien. In newly filed court docs, Kathryn also makes more alarming allegations against Thomas regarding how he cares for their kids when they’re in his custody.

According to a new report, the Southern Charm cast member hopes to have Thomas’ parenting abilities re-evaluated following his September arrest.

On December 29, The Blast shared details of Kathryn’s latest court documents, which came in response to Thomas’ request to keep their current joint custody agreement in place.

In Kathryn’s documents, she states that because the doctor who was court-appointed to assess her custody agreement in 2017, was hired prior to the many allegations of sexual assault against her children’s father, the findings of the initial assessment may no longer be valid.

Throughout the past several months, a number of women have come forward with claims of sexual assault against Thomas, starting with a woman named Debbie Perkins who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Thomas and paid $200,000 to keep the incident private.

Another woman who came forward with sexual assault claims was Dawn L., who worked for Thomas as a nanny to his kids and appeared on Southern Charm. Months after Dawn went public, Thomas was arrested on charges related to their alleged encounter and charged with second-degree assault and battery.

After the arrest, Thomas was reportedly fired from his role on Southern Charm… even though he insists he quit on his own accord.

Kathryn also said in her court documents that there are “other incidents of bizarre behavior arising out of his intoxication due to a mixture of alcohol and prescription drugs” and noted that she was concerned after learning Thomas had been locking their kids in their bedrooms at night. As she explained, she believes using the lock creates a safety hazard.

In Thomas’ documents, he accused Kathryn of plotting to have his former girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, make defamatory statements about him publicly, which she denies. He also said Kathryn was trying to get full custody to create a storyline for herself on Southern Charm season six.

Not only did Kathryn argue that she did not attempt to have Ashley speak poorly of Thomas to press, she also accused Ashley of speaking badly about her and said she should not be allowed near Kensington and Saint Julien.

As their custody battle continues, Kathryn is asking for all Thomas’ requests to be denied and also wants his lawsuit over the unaired footage of Southern Charm thrown out. As fans may have heard, Thomas filed a lawsuit against Bravo TV and his producers, demanding a judge ban them from airing unseen moments featuring Kathryn discussing their custody battle, as well as footage of their kids, on future episodes of the series.

Thomas claimed in his court documents against the network that Bravo TV actually “encouraged” Kathryn to file for full custody of their kids in October and demanded a judge refrain from granting her request.

As Southern Charm viewers will recall, Kathryn lost custody of her two kids in 2016 after she failed a court-ordered drug test but was able to win back joint custody of the children earlier this year after attending rehab and maintaining her sobriety.

Southern Charm season six will air on Bravo TV sometime next year.
