Lisa Vanderpump is being accused by her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars of planting a false story about Dorit Kemsley and then trying to play the peacemaker according to a new report.
If you recall, a story came out last September which accused Dorit of dropping a dog she adopted from Vanderpump Dogs off at an animal shelter in Los Angeles. And then just a few days later, Lisa did a video interview with TMZ, in which she denied Dorit had done any such thing and insisted they were close friends.
Well, TMZ is now reporting today that the RHOBH cast was not buying Lisa’s comments in that interview, as they felt she was acting “holier than thou — putting out the story while simultaneously denying it and playing peacemaker.”
In fact, that video interview that Lisa did back then is said to have caused a “crapstorm” between the women of the show and will be referenced during the upcoming episodes of season nine.
In the clip, Lisa denied that she had anything to do with the dog story.
“She did not give [the dog] to a shelter,” Lisa said. “I’m going to set the record straight with that. That’s not true at all. She gave it to somebody who really wanted the dog who assured her it was going to a loving home and that’s what Dorit thought. She would not drop the dog off at a shelter.“
TMZ was told that Lisa spoke to them because she wanted to set the record straight about the dog drama and clear Dorit’s name.
The original dog story was shared by Radar Online, and since then, the editor of the site has taken the rare and extraordinary step of publicly denying Lisa was the source for their story.
In other RHOBH news, Bravo has just released the first clip of a scene from the new season of the show, which is set to premiere next Tuesday on February 12.
In the clip, which can be seen below, Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards are shown hanging out as Rinna introduces her to some of the other ladies and reveals that she feels Denise will be a good fit for the group.
And finally, RHOBH stars – Kyle Richards, Rinna, and Teddi Mellencamp – will be guests on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, February 7. It’s more than likely the ladies will be asked a question about Lisa.
While members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have claimed Lisa has isolated herself from them, she claims her lack of involvement with season nine is due to her brother Mark Vanderpump‘s sudden passing in May of last year.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine premieres on Tuesday, February 12 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
